All I can say is that whatever happens, Zenitsu doesn't deserve it and I kinda hope that Tanjiro feels really guilty on what happens either that or that Kuwajima stops it. Zenitsu deserves better dang it~ DX

The only ones that weren’t that mean to Zenitsu were Gyomei and ( I think) muchiro

For some reason, I don’t like where the whole thing goes. Feels like Kocho about to go full insane scientist. I’m sure that Tanjiro will not like it either.
Zenitsu should also fear for Nezuko: he may be a rare demon (and potentially much more dangerous than other of their kind), but she is literally unique (and absolutely unknown what threat she can become. Moreover, it regenerates perfectly). Of course, a little experimentation to advance their case does not violate the direct order of Oyakata-sama (although Kocho obviously hopes that at least Zenitsu will fail - will not endure such a hunger in combination with the conditions? - thereby giving her a reason to kill him and not to worry anymore).

Well, you've taken my number one spot for Demon slayer fics. It was so hard to decide, but with how you have more consistent updates & in my opinion, equal story telling to Demons in the Rough. So thank you, for this treat of a story.

My goodness! This is astounding! I love it! You write Zenitsu so well, and being able to get a peak at the point of view of the Demons(or at least the ones who don’t deserve it) who are treated terribly for something out of their control is awesome. It’s a shitty situation because they really are an innocent party, but well, the pillars being who they are means that ‘innocent’ and ‘demons’ aren’t necessarily next to each other in the dictionary. All things considered, this is also one of the best Nezuko/Zenitsu stories, and really, one of the best demon slayer stories period, that I’ve read. Great job! Hope to see more chapters! Stay safe and healthy!

Yesss! Such a good chapter! It made my day being able to read it! I feel like Shinobu seems to be warming up to Zenitsu, since she didn't think she'd need Rengokus help. I think she meant it in a way seeming that she knew Zenitsu wouldnt try to run or hurt anyone. And at least Zenitsu's not alone with Nezuko to keep him company! Super excited for the next chapter, so keep up the awesome work!
