Welp. The first parts were werid, but now we've gotten to the good stuff. Deifnitely very creative story, I haven't found anything that starts off in the same way as this one. I would love to see more. :)

Anyway, you missed some quotation marks:
"For all I know," Jason continued, "you just want me to come back..."
The comma after "continued" and the starting of the next part of the quote with a lowercase letter would have meant that Jason's sentence wasn't finished.

Oh, and quotes that are inside other quotes start with single quotation marks or apostrophes.

Anyway, pretty whimsical part so far.

Finally, Jason has met Mufasa and the Pridelanders. I wonder what's in store for them? (:
