This was such a sad, beautiful character study. I love the idea that Molly practically raised her brothers as well as her children - it really does just *fit* - and the idea that she tried to save all of them and yet she couldn't. The imagery of the bright stars burning out too quickly captured these characters so perfectly and worked beautifully as a metaphor. Very, very well done!

This is so moving! I loved the way you use short simple sentences to make the atmosphere more stark and serious. I always find myself falling into the trap of too many commas and very long sentences.

You took this prompt in a way different direction than I did! I wrote about Arthur and baby Ginny, but I really liked the way you approached this :)
