Loved it!
foreverHenry919 chapter 3 . 4/5
Love it, love it, love it. You like writing them gettin' it on, don't you? LOL We can only imagine how Henry would react to Jo's wall of truth about him. This was very believable and entertaining. Of course, they get back together, though. Thank you for writing this and I look forward to your future offerings. Wash hands often, stay safe and healthy.

I love this chapter!

I really enjoyed reading this chapter! I love how Abe goes to Jo's house and receives confirmation of his suspicions about the extent of his father's fears. I smiled at Jo letting Abe hug her and comfort; she picks the right person (other than Henry) for that. When Abe says, "I've known Henry all my life...", I told Jo to add that to her list of things she knows about Henry. (In a way, I wish we could see her reaction when Henry tells her their real relationship.) I love how Abe talks Henry out of his rash decision to quit the OCME and into giving Jo another chance.

And I'm smiling from ear to ear at Henry's decision to take his son up on the challenge. The wrong heat was frying Henry's brain. :) I love their reconciliation and Henry's realization of her loyalty to him. I love how their make-out session starts in the same place where the revelation starts and how their kissing parallels the series of events in the first chapter. You did give me something to think about when Jo says that she knew Henry's immortal but she was afraid he would disappear on her like Sean. It makes sense within the series if that is true. Jo seeing the parallels between the last words she said to Sean and her argument with Henry and her regretting the latter when she hears Adam's first shot in 1x22 has always been a head canon of mine. (I need season 2 to see if we're right!)

Again, great chapter and great story! I really enjoyed reading it, and I'm looking forward to seeing what other stories you create!

I love this chapter!

I really enjoyed reading this chapter! Boy, Henry's really ticked off at Jo. Abe's right though. If Jo had meant any harm, she would have sent him to Bellevue long before now...and on just his lack of self-preservation alone. Fortunately for him, she is very close to the truth and just wants to hear his story. As for Henry, he does need time to cool off before he does something that he will later regret. (Truth be told, though, with his fear running high, dying in front of her might make the entire situation easier at this point.)

Speaking of Jo, my heart goes out to her. She is heaping quite a bit of misplaced guilt on herself because of her curiosity. I love how Mike, Lucas, and Clara immediately pick up on the reason for Jo's hurt feelings. I had to laugh at Clara's offer to go to the shop and punch Henry for hurting Jo; I get the feeling she would. All the flashbacks while Jo watches her evidence burn fit in perfectly. Hopefully, Jo can tell him what she's done, apologizes, and offers to hear him out before he leaves for another city.

Again, great chapter! I'm looking forward to reading the next one!

I love this chapter!

I really enjoyed the start of this story! I can totally see this happening on the show. (I think I read an interview where Ioan directly expressed his interest with Alana's idea. If so, since both leads could see it as the reveal or the run-up to the reveal, I wouldn't be surprised if Matt is still considering how to incorporate it into the plot for Season 2 if/when we get it.) It makes total sense, though. Jo's a detective. There is no way she can dismiss what she sees during the case in the Pilot...or his hints, odd comments, unusual knowledge of the city or lack of self-preservation. Creating an investigation board would be logical for her to do.

As for Henry finding it, I love the premise. I can't blame him for being angry with her. His heart and his memories of Nora are arguing with each other, and anger is the only emotion to escape. Nor can I blame her for being so hurt by the problems that first reveal are causing 200 years later. I am very interested in seeing how you will have Henry and Jo reconcile and how he will start his long story.

Again, great chapter! I'm looking forward to reading the next one!

This is a great beginning! I totally remember Alana's interview and Ioan saying that they had speculated a scenario like this happening after they'd started dating. Cheer up, Henry. Jo just loves you and she's not like Nora. I await your next installment.
