I loved this ending. I truly needed a fic to read like this during this time. The cabin trip was def a success. The fishing scenes were hilarious my favorite. Love me Kim and Erin their friendship on the show only had so much recognition. I’m glad Erin and Jay are in a great place now in the engagement sigh beautiful beautiful. can you do a one where Erin's is not cop but a nurse or something and voight is her dad and something happen happens so he puts halstead and bodyguard

This was the perfect ending to the perfect fluffy fic. I loved the fishing/sunbathing scene and when they got back to cabin and were exchanging old stories. And the jump/duck into the lake. It was all so perfect. I loved it all! Thanks for sharing!

Nice story! I like the idea of Jay and Erin using Wisconsin as an escape and a place to heal. And great to see Jay learning to deal with hia demons in better, more constructive ways instead of burying them or trying to handle it alone. Liked seeing his progress and his trust in his team. He deserves that.

I hope you are feeling better from the migraine. The trip up to the cabin was well deserved. I’m glad they are all there getting to hang out and to get to know each more deeply. I don’t like Sarah she’s trouble. Stay away from Jay lol. Kev is such a great guy. I would have chewed her out. I love this fic. So homey, feel good, and so needed. I’m glad I get to read this in between all the other ones I’m catching up on.
