Green Hal37 chapter 5 . 7/19 Clark leaving Genevieve, making her miss her flight, was deserving. The Fortress of Solitude? Didn't see that coming. The actor who played Darren Cross, Yellowjacket, in the first Ant-Man movie, to me, feels like another great actor for the role of Lex. A selfish genius, bent on his own vision. What do you think of this fan casting? |
OmniUIShaggyOverexaggerated chapter 5 . 7/19 Yeah! It always bothered me that Chloe didn't tell Clark that it was because of Alicia that she found out Clark's secret. Man, I do love Karma in the form of a darker Clark Kent dishing out punishment to Jason Teague, one for threatening Alicia when people thought she tried to kill Lana a second time when it really was Tim Westcott, the Smallville Sandman that tried to murder Lana and later Jason because of how much he disagrees on student/teacher relationship going on. Two for briefly witholding Genevieve's location and finally 3 for harming Chloe. Genevieve loses the stone after Clark reclaims, as is his right as a Kryptonian. The stones reassembled together into a Diamond stone, transporting Clark into the Arctic, who then throws the stone into the Arctic floor, triggering the birth of the Fortress of Solitude. It is safe to say that with Clark no longer acknowledge Jonathan and Martha Kent as his true parents, their journey to guiding Clark ends one chapter, and begins a new chapter with a new journey where Kal El will be guided by the AI of Jor El. Since Kal El gathered the stones much earlier than canon, does this prevent the second meteor shower from hitting Smallville, or will it still happen, regardless of how different events unfolded? |
Eagles11 chapter 5 . 7/17 Looks like Jonathan now has a better understanding of the saying "The Chickens have come home to roost." I can understand that Clark's angry. If there's one thing I know from reading the comics and watching the shows and movies, is God have mercy on anyone who ticks off Superman. It's good you cleared things up with Clark and Chloe on how she found out, you acknowledged Alicia's involvement which the writers on the show didn't have the decency to do. Clark's interrogation of Jason was a bit old school, I mean tied to chair, I half expected him to be hanging by his ankles from the rafters in the barn. As Clark went full on Marsellus Wallace. But, tied to a chair and soiling himself in fear and terror at what Clark can do to him works to. A broken left arm, given the degree of severity Jason might get the message. If not, Clark can do worse. The Fortress is built and Clark is way ahead of schedule now. With the second meteor shower completely bypassed, we more than likely won't be seeing Brainiac so thats a good thing. Seeing where this story is going, when Clark finishes his training look out world. Thing are getting interesting with this story, keep it up. |
Cer1992 chapter 5 . 7/16 Nice chapter. Loved that Clark gave both Jason and Genevieve what they definitely deserved. And also Chloe telling Clark the whole truth about how she found out his secret. That's the thing about long-running TV shows, they tend not to follow continuity unless the writers feel it's necessary. Now the Fortress is created, can't wait to see how this plays out given there's no second meteor shower in this universe. |
Guest chapter 5 . 7/16 I can't tell which motivation on Clark becoming Superman is better between Tom Welling and Henry Cavill. Cavill is based off of Jor El's Dream for a Future of Peace and Hope with Humans and Aliens living in Harmony and Clark as the Example of Best of Both Worlds. Welling's is based off of Prophecies, Visions, and Future Knowledge from Jor El, Dr Fate, the Kawatche Indians, and the Legion of Superheroes. |
Aragorn II Elessar chapter 5 . 7/16 Great chapter. Oh Jason got exactly what he deserved. Clark threatening him and showing off his powers was awesome. Plus, using the 'I will hunt you down' line and breaking his arm. Nice moment between Clark and Chloe. Geneive is delusional. Good that Clark got the Stone. And now the Fortress of Solitude has been created. Amazing. I loved that scene in the show too. No kidding on the show not acknowledging how Clark found out. Can't wait for next chapter. |
Chunk127 chapter 5 . 7/16 Acknowledge Alicia's existence. They didn't even have the common decency to flip the episodes around so Pariah would be the last to go on before Winter Hiatus. So Clark would have a couple months to grieve as opposed to a week. And we would be stuck with the knowledge that Chloe knows but is keeping quiet what's going to happen now? Such a better ending for winter then Lex screws his mom and kryptonite fear gas. |
highlander348 chapter 5 . 7/16 Will Clark still get together with Chloe or Lois in this story? |
OmniUIShaggyOverexaggerated chapter 4 . 7/14 Nice tidbit with the Red K Clark trusting Chloe and Lois with his secret but not Lana. As for this chapter, gulp. |
Green Hal37 chapter 4 . 7/3 Holding a shotgun to Chloe's chest, hitting Jonathan across the head with a bottle, and smacking Chloe with the shotgun: this "Jason," gave me reasons enough to have a distaste for him. Is Genevieve just as horrible as Jason? Because apparently, she killed Vergil Swann, a close friend to Clark. Michael Rosebaum will always be Lex, whenever I think of a live action Lex Luthor. That's how great Michael's performance is to me. |
nagiten chapter 4 . 7/2 true and he knew he could and always would trust the cousin...lois and chloe and later oliver..much to everyone surpise are one of the only few people clark can trust even when it doesnt seem like he should. great chapter...jason you are so screwed..it sad the teagues were apart of vertus and yet never expected clark to be the traveller ...ok genevie may have but with the MF(meteror freaks ) she couldnt be sure..and really people should of figured or guessed like chloe did clark was powered ... i mean if you look back nearly everyone at that highschool they named had powers one why or another pete given two different ones possibly three chloe givne powers and techincally inheirts one. lana get three-four different types( i count the countress and the tiime she got clark powers before she was grafted with the skin) i forget if martha ever got powers jonathan did...so nearly everyone we saw and was a semi focus had powers yet no one ever saw or guessed clark did unless shown? really? another death of a love clark gets over quick is klya she is hardly mentioned after the fact same with alicia.. also notice how later season have lois as a dark brunette..to fit with the naman legend...which is never truly used just speculated...so many things never used so many plot threads never truly used...sad so sad |
Cer1992 chapter 4 . 7/1 Nice chapter. R.I.P. Dr. Swann, although his death wasn't that surprising. Of course Martha and Jonathan can trust Chloe's word that she'll never tell anyone about Clark. Barring some moments from Seasons 8 and 9, she's really proven herself to be one of the luckiest friends to have. Loved Clark not holding back his words towards Lana and him knocking Jason out, no less than those two deserve. Can't wait for the next chapter. |
Eagles11 chapter 4 . 7/1 So Chloe now knows, and its only a matter of time before she betrays Clark to Waller and Checkmate. Genevieve killed Virgil Swann, I knew she was cold blooded but you have taken her to other level with this story. I wonder who's wrath she'll face first, Clark's or Lionel's. And Clark finally let's Lana have it. I found that part very satisfying to read. She now has some understanding of what has now been unleashed, and Lana now knows the other person who could talk Clark down is six feet under thanks to her and Jason. Jason is Now in for the worst night of his life. Clark is going to put the screws to him in worst way to find Genevieve. I starting to like where this is going. |
Guest chapter 4 . 6/30 So from what I've seen from Smallville Supergirl and DCEU Kryptonian have Mind Sets that are a bit harden than humans and having human identity gives them more empathy like for example Clark couldn't fly until the end of the series because Flight was a psychological ability and because he was raised since he was baby with a human identity had a human mind set preventing from using flight and when Clark was brainwashed into Kal El with a 100% Kryptonian Mind Set in Season 4 he was able to fly and treated humans as weak and after Season 8 he tried to quit his human identiy and embrace his Kryptonian identity allowing him to levitate a few times and in Supergirl Kryptonians are immune to Myriad mind control except for Clark because he had a human mind set. The point I'm trying to get here is imagine if Superman was raised by the League of Assassins League members are trained to be stone cold killers Nyssa was trained from childhood if Kal El was trained by the League since childhood to embrace his powers at full strength then he would have like a Human equivalent to a Kryptonian mind set no outside world experience no human identity just the mind of a Assassin |
Michael Weyer chapter 4 . 6/30 Not bad and do like the irony of how Chloe and Lana both jump to the logical, if wrong, conclusion that Clark is a "meteor freak" rather than the whole alien thing. |
