Alright man i tried to get through this story so far but here's where I throw in the towel.
Weiss is a bitch with no redeeming qualities and yet she's the one the group is apologizing to... ah wat?
Glenda comes along a just casually insulting all her students because that's a thing teachers do? what school did you go to man? You should probably be reporting some teachers, just saying.
Then there is your writing style, honestly its kinda hard to follow along sometimes because the thoughts of the characters just seemed jumbled up. Like one moment they are thinking about one thing and then suddenly they are thinking of a totally unrelated thing. Makes it hard to keep track of their thoughts.
Keeping writing for yourself though, I hope me words don't stop you from continuing the story but that they give you somethings to think about.

I'm not really sure about this chapter. It seemed like things got better but it seemed less from actually talking and more of them all suffering under Goodwitch. Who also seems over the top. She doesn't seem to care about anything but her own views and judgments. Even she must know that these are new formed teams partnered with strangers with conflicting personalities and it isn't strange to see conflict arise yet she acts like this is a first. That they did the unthinkable. She needs to chill and pull out whatever she has stuck up her ass.

She also seems much more hostile against Jaune overall that looks almost unprofessional from her position as a teacher. It doesn't really make sense, is there something more to the fact that she feels the need to be hostile towards?

Ozpin while understandable in giving advice was also not very proper about it. He seemed to indirect about his advice that it seemed like it was more to entertain himself then actually help Jaune and understand him. He says no rational choices are made when angered. True but rational choices aren't always made when calm either.

Jaune has been calm in how he deal with things lately and been progressing as shown but Ozpin makes it seem like he is a wild beast lashing out. The entire interaction between the two was very off putting. Also like said with Glynda this can't be outside the norm for new students from various backgrounds and issues forced into teams to bring up problems during school hours where tempers and stress start piling up. With the aid of combat class, other students, school work, things will escalate.

So I won't say it's bad chapter. It just seemed like the team talking they did while at first started productively, ended up being ruined by Goodwitch's entrance. While Jaune's interaction with Ozpin seemed somewhat helpful in emphasizing his demeanor which he was already doing more anyways and to confront Cardin's team. It seemed almost convoluted in the way Ozpin went about it and unnecessary.

Overall the chapter seems to at least got some semblance of civility for the time being. Though looks like Ruby is on Goodwitch's bad side. Maybe this is another indirect advice for Ruby to not run away from her problems?

I really like this story. It’s very interesting.

Loved it. I honestly liked it a lot. Ozpin was also a lot more impressive in reigning in Glynda. I was a bit disappointed in Port's demeanor. When faced with the problem he became in my mind almost submissive or maybe passive. Like he was avoiding conflict instead of restoring order as you would think a teacher in his position would do. or maybe have a moment of insight from his experience as a teacher and try to guide them to more civil settings. He kinda just acted like not my problem let Glynda handle it. tally ho!

Ozpin though was like I know what I'm talking about. I see the issues and I've seen it all before. let them deal with it and we'll intervene if it reaches that point. So in the meantime Glynda just give them a talking to and don't get bent out of shape.

ANd my favorite was Jaune. Sure the conversation with Dove went well and he got some idea of the things to expect from cardin as well. Ruby got a bit pissy over nothing but at least she got sent to bed despite her being cranky still.

And finally we see Jaune lay down some authority. I was surprised that Blake fell in light without much argument but maybe in her mind it was taking the path of least resistance. Or maybe she is submissive and likes following orders. Meyow.

I think I was happiest about Jaune zeroing in on Pyrrha this time instead of just letting her continue playing passive. She seems to find it in her to criticize Jaune's actions when alone but she herself doesn't help the situation or do anything herself. Inaction in some cases can be worse and thats her in a nutshell. So as you called it 'judge from afar' attitude is spot on and really irritating.

Easy for her to judge when she doesn't even act part of the group. So i enjoyed Jaune putting her on the spot and pushing her to actually be part of the situation or stay silent in the future.

Ren and Nora seem to just have interest in seeing what will happen which is fine. not like they cause problems.

Yang at least still seems willing despite her reluctance. least she can see Jaune is trying when no one else is. ANd that is pretty much what i see most in this fic.

Weiss well she has to let everything just get to her. this time it was distractions and the believe of Yang giving false praise for her efforts. Not easy trying to be nice to someone you dislike and have argued with. Give the blonde a break least she is trying even if her attempts came off as pitiful.

Though in this chapter Jaune really shows me one thing through the story compared to the other characters.

Jaune Arc is the one who is actually trying. He doesn't need to but does so for their benefit. He shouldn't have to baby sit everyone and play mediator for their problems but he does because no one else is stepping up.

He is the one who despite coming here to learn and improve to be better and the experience of Beacon but finding himself dealing with everyone's baggage and crappy attitude. Yet he is going out of his way to help when everyone else is either distancing themselves like Pyrrha and Blake, trying not to make it worse, like Ruby, not part of the problem but not doing anything to help with it either, Nora and Ren. Or the major cause of the problems. Yang and Weiss.

So i can say Jaune has despite not doing the best job is at least trying and doing his best that he can. While dealing with an emotional, cranky ruby poking him nonstop. cute but annoying on her part.

And last but not least has a team minus one who is probably out to get him with pranks and attempts at bully to expect in the future. joy. least he got his money from dove.

How this guy hasn't exploded from frustration is something I can only ponder on. Maybe his experiences in the Frontier fighting grimm and dealing with the people have helped gain a certain amount of patience and maturity compared to his classmates? Or maybe his experience with his many sisters make him better at dealing with pissy girls. who knows.

Still overall loved the chapter.
