Oh, so she is getting wise to the old man and his 'uniqueness', eh?

Yep, that's pretty much what I thought was going to happen to the deathclaw.

I didn't think we'd be going down the pet deathclaw route. Wonder how long you planned for that, or if it was a fancy of brilliance that demanded to be done.

For some reason Ashe doesn't question why someone doesn't know about deathclaws. Then again, weird people be weird yo. The story progresses, one way or another, and each new bit is still rewarding to read.

On the other hand, Ashe finally shares some more of her world with Mr. Kravos! While at the same time, she's realizing that she's growing healthier with him. Those little realizations of being healthy and secure around him will let her open up to him even more!

I see, a classic Deathclaw was the monster. The dragons of the wasteland you could say. Now we might see some magic that'll blow a baby Deathclaw away! Or, maybe he'll literally pull out an actual gun and use it like any good adventurer in a foreign place. But really... I wonder if he tried going toe to toe with the albino he killed. It's possible, just not recommended.

Ashe is still cute as ever. She's a smart girl. I've a feeling when they return to Skyrim, it won't be without any local knowledge or toys to throw the tech balance off. Still, that's okay. What matters is that she'll get a happy ending. A new life with love and a world filled with life. Though, Far Harbor is pretty full of life, just lots of death too.

Best of luck writing any action scenes! Those can be tough to stay active and not passive.

Surprise, surprise the dragonborn completely destroys deathclaws. I'm a little bit curious about how the next chapter is gonna go. Feels like a bait and switch.

Yay, another chapter! Boo, the suspense will have me starving for more and to know what the heck is happening. Probably some monster that decided to attack the house. I wonder if there will be any magical defenses at the ready. There's a variety of unique monsters to choose from in Far Harbor. You got ones with big pinchy claws, ones with big gaping mouths, and plenty of things that glow and make a rad counter go click, clickety, click.
I'm excited to see if you fit in a Fog Crawler into this fic! Those were my favorite monster of Far Harbor.

So I'm wondering about Kravos. Surely a hero like him still has the interest to explore the surrounding region right? Like, does he not talk about anything he finds outside with Ashe because he thinks it'll upset her? How much does he know? I've been assuming he's just staying ignorant for plot reasonw, but now I'm beginning to wonder if that isn't exactly true. Really looking forward to seeing how his character and Ashe's develop, and their understanding of the world come together.

Dam cliffhanger but I can’t wait for the next chapter

This is a pretty cute story so far. A lot of the skyrim stuff is a bit confusing because I never managed to get too deep into the game, but I do enjoy a good 'guy raises a little girl' tale. I love that its set in Far Harbor but... I've seen little of Far Harbor so far! I'd think by now they would have talked about some local things, or Kravos would have noticed discrepancies past a sickness he's never seen before. I really hope the whole story isn't just going to take place in his magical house. Though, it does sound like a pretty magical place to grow up in. If you're doing a slow burn for revealing the larger world, then that's perfectly fine as well.

There's all sorts of things I'd love to see in this story. From Synths to the Children of Atom and their mystical aspects. It has a lot of potential to grow to touch on all the little details of Far Harbor and the commonwealth as a whole. Or, you can stay focused and do what you're doing best so far, and keeping it as a heartwarming tale of love and recovery.

One thing though that really must happen... More characters in the present.
