Metal Chocobo chapter 20 . 7/4 I'm such a sucker for werewolves and you do werewolf so well. Honestly, after reading this chapter I may need to reread your uInto the Woods/u, which burrowed a home into my brain back when you first posted it and never moved out. I could really go for something like twelve werewolf Zelink novels from you and likely never get tired of it. As for this story, I love the early twist in this. Definitely thought the app had set up Link and Zelda, so having it be a chance meeting was utterly delightful. The ending with the nice urban fantasy apartment that is clearly full of supernatural inhabitants was wonderful. Zelda deciding that she was going to irritate and tease Link, but not actually harm him with charms left me grinning. I am so happy to be reading your writing right now. |
Metal Chocobo chapter 19 . 7/4 Riju fangirling was an absolute delight! I really enjoyed the way she interacted with her sister and Zelda, could definitely feel a connection there. The plushies made me laugh and the interview was great as well, though I do wonder when Link will end up going public about his relationship with Zelda. |
Metal Chocobo chapter 10 . 7/4 So very wonderful! Hearing that is came from a longer discontinued thing makes me a little sad because as you said, vet Link and archaeologist Zelda sounds like the perfect set up. Loved all the little details in this one, like Zelda fixing her hair while Link was taking care of her room, and the fact Link just wants to be near Zelda in this. |
Metal Chocobo chapter 8 . 7/4 This was so delightful. I love low-key domestic so much and Link was perfect handling Zelda forgetting their anniversary. Also, I'm giggling over the anniversary date you chose, since that was also my parents' date (chosen so that my dad wouldn't forget, which I don't think he ever did). Thanks so much for sharing these! |
Metal Chocobo chapter 4 . 7/4 This chapter was so delightful! Honestly, everything you write is pretty great and I'd love to see more of any of these shorts. However, this particular one had me cackling through the entire thing. I assume Zelda had a little chuckle of her own once Link left, but was also looking forward to seeing him again. Okay, excited to read the rest of these! |
catspats31 chapter 1 . 6/30 Even though I enjoy the writing quality of the drabbles in this story so far, please note that the following part of the Content Guidelines is broken for making this story based upon reviewed requests: Entries not allowed: 5. Any form of interactive entry: choose your adventure, second person/you based, Q&As, and etc. You're better off making separate one-shots as separate stories instead of putting it all in one story. Only accept requests sent by PM from now on. In the mean time, stay safe, stay inside, and wash your hands. |
clandestine.eggplant chapter 35 . 6/21 Love this one! Thanks for writing these. This was such an undertaking. It definitely gave me something to look forward to. I hope you are your family are doing well. |
MariaPim chapter 33 . 6/21 OMG - how could I forget to mention this one, with Zelda being brought up by Urbosa - it’s pure genious! I loved how living with Urbosa surrounded by love, had revealed the power to her - brilliant! And I loved your portrayal of Link in this one too. Confident, strong, respectful and calm. just the right combination to match this AU’s Zelda. Perfect! |
MariaPim chapter 35 . 6/21 I came accross this wonderful drabble collection by pure chance, and have absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing stories. This spring has been very taxing on all of us, and with the current unrest eating into what little energy reserves we have left, I can understand that you feel burned out. I am really impressed with your way of contributing to the BLM movement- like you I’m caucasian and living a safe middle-class life, and have felt like I need to speak up, but I don’t have the experiences to do the situation justice. I’ve struggled with that. It was brave of you to address that, and to open up your platform in a constructive way. Kudos for that! As regards to the stories - they were wonderful! Just the right kind of fluff to help boost those badly depleted energy reserves. I’ve prettu much swallowed the collection whole - and will probably need to return at some later point to re-read, as I’m already now realizing some of the stories are definitely merging in my memory, but there are also others that shine bright. Initially when I saw that you were going to combine werewolves with the Zelda legend, I was very sceptic - but to tell you the truth you have completely converted me! I sincerely hope you will do another werewolf story one day (multi-chaptered, if you can find the time and the energy) because I would love to read that! The heat you packed in those stories, without even a kiss for one of them was just above and beyond! Other ones that stuck with me were, for example the one where Link was the security guard and Zelda the CEO, it was just the perfect combo of sweet and unbearably hot. The Voices duo were also lovely- the whole who is chasing who scenario there was so very funny. And I found it amusing they both had voices in their heads from their predecessors. And the one where Zelda the girlfriend visited Urbosa and super-fan Riju for a girly weekend had me giggling out loud. ...and the one with the ships, where Captain Zelda stopped because of a “please” - the note you ended that story on still gives me goosebumps, even now. ...I could go on, and I really should have reviewed after each chapter, but I was just too greedy. I am sorry. Regardless I hope you know your stories are an absolute joy to read - I hope you enjoyed writing them as much! I also really appreciated the guest starring CM, especially the last one - had such beautifully painted emotion. Thank you! |
Ryder chapter 35 . 6/18 Great stories to pass the time. There is but one problem though. There are no High School one-shots! The closest were University! Other than that everything else is top notch. I would be glad to read more. |
KaChan84 chapter 35 . 6/15 I loved this whole story very much! Thank you for sharing! Stay safe and healthy! |
Intangibly Yours chapter 35 . 6/14 Thank you for all these wonderful oneshots! They made my heart soar, this one included! (The last one was also very, very enjoyable - thank you CM!) I hope to see you writing more again soon; receiving your author alerts always brightens my day! Just curious - do you still have any desire to make a sequel to Into the Woods? *hides* |
Guest chapter 35 . 6/14 I’ve been reading all your oneshots as they come out, and I just have to thank you for writing them! I’ve looked forward to each and every one, and though I’m a little sad they’re over, I am just glad to have read so many quality stories. Thank you! |
Guest chapter 14 . 6/14 Would it be possible to do another two-parter like the pirates chapter where the first part is student librarian zelda and pre test binge study link and the second is cozying up (snugglin) in the castle library? |
