... the awkward moment you've away so long you can't remember if you reviewed your current favorite story. Oops. Well, if I did, I'm doing it again. I am loving this story (which I guess is fairly obvious at this point!) and this chapter was no exception.

I adore Savvy and I love your Savvy-Addison relationship. "Only always" is somehow such a Savvy line, and I loved that Savvy was so much herself in college already making perfect cheese plates. I smiled.

And now that the nice part is out of the way ... oof. The tenth anniversary party Derek never showed up to, and Addison covered for him? That one hurt. Every character is talking about it perfectly, though, and it needed to be aired. I think I said this before, but my favorite thing about this story is what a great job you're doing keeping each character in character. Nancy's lines sound like Nancy's, Savvy's are hers, Derek and Weiss sound like themselves. It's not easy to do, but it makes for great reading.

And finally: "...he can't tell if she's doing it intentionally or out of habit." Hashtag-Addek-post-divorce. In a nutshell. Excuse me while I go cry.

I love this story. I think we need a chapter on everyone else's reactions each time Derek and Addison keep leaving the party. Maybe some additional views of how they blew up their marriage, hopes/fears about their reconciliation, maybe views on Mark. My personal opinion is that though Mark is a manwhore, He was a friend and he was there when Derek wasn't; the outcome being pretty predictable. Kudos to you on this and all your other works. I'm a fan!

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CHAPTER! The college remiscing, and FINALLY recognizing Derek's missed events that are important. He never acknowledged it in the show, and was never given a chance to actually talk about it, in order for him to understand how he hurt Addison in a way that he thought was harmless. Thank you! For a refreshing take on Addison AND Derek Fanfiction world. May you continue gracing us with your talent!

Derek realising he forced Addison to act like her mother, and acknowledge the impact this had on her. . . is everything. He was so insensitive to his role in ruining their relationship on the show, and you're making him repent so well in this story.
Addison being stoic about being stood up is so in character, and Weiss sticking up for her is just adorable. He's like a protective older brother, and I love it.

I really love the way you write Weiss :) I love the way you write in general, but especially Weiss.

I loved everything about this chapter. I like how we have built a wholesome character of Savvy based on just few minutes of her screen time. I would love to have a friend like her and you who throw such cool parties.
The backstory of their 10th anniversary was heartbreaking. I also liked that Derek finally realized that what he did on prom was as worse was Captain sleeping around. I can't wait to see how they progress from here.

God! Only half way in and I was already sobbing, damn. This one was tough... by the time whe got to the whole thing with addie saying she basically had to do her mother's speech, I was so gone.
