Tyher sure are sensitive! Just like GW!Uni about Keri and K-Sha... I doubt she can work smoothly with any of them. Heck, i can imagine ehr bonding with her Voidself over their "love" toward mankind

It's a little confusing keeping the dimensional counterparts straight in my head sometimes... Still, I appreciated the lighthearted teasing in the second half with Hyper Blanc, helped offset the bad start with GW!Uni.

Calling it a nervous break, attempt murder probably a broken bone or two and very scared kei will happen next chapter.

Btw, I gotta say I discovered Echoes of the Dark approximately 4 months ago, and was admittedly a bit apprehensive at first, but also curious.

I've never really been big on darkfics, and a lot are just pure garbage written by sadistic a-holes just looking for an excuse to put our beloved characters through hell for seemingly no reason (my personal take).

However, that's not to say there aren't a few hidden gems here and there. I've read a few Lucky Star darkfics, that were actually either decent or pretty good.

And then, a little over a year ago, I discovered your Nepgear-centric fic, Shadows of the Heart, and I couldn't help but fall in love with it, as it was just amazing...and was admittedly a bit disappointed that, despite publishing a sequel of sorts, it consisted of of mere few pages of short stories and one-shits.

But when I discovered Echoes of the Dark, I though...well, Shadows of the Heart was awesome, though at times depressing...hopefully this will be just as good, considering it's from the same author...

Holy shit! I'm not gonna lie! If Shadows of the Heart was sad and depressing, Echoes of the Dark was just outright DISTURBING...yet I could not for the life of me put it down! It was so dark, terrifying and depressing, I was like "just what the hell am I reading?!"

I can't tell you how often I ended up crying while reading the more heart-wrenching moments of the story. I really felt my heart breaking for these characters, and before I knew it I found myself ending each chapter wanting MORE! I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next in this wild rollercoaster ride of a story.

Oh, and then there was the reveal that Kurome was responsible for EVERTHING that had befallen the people of Gamworld...and I couldn't help but grin in savage vindictive satisfaction as Kurome finally got her comeuppance.

And now there's a full-on direct sequel, Echoes of the Life, which is turning out just as amazing.

However, I must say, I've truly come to hate Ubi and Beth in particular. Ubi's butchering of Cave by literally ripping out her heart with her powers, and then the way Beth used Lilac Void, then threw her away by killing her right in front of Purple Heart, just as the two were coming to an understanding, and all to spite Neptune. Seriously, you had better make Beth's death be just as horribke as her personality and treatment of both her enemies and allies alike. Same with Ubi!

Anyways, keep up the great work, and I'm very much looking forward to finding out what happens next!

P.S. I know I'm not the first to mention this, and I likely won't be the last, however, I would LOVE to see artwork of Maidgear some time. Nepgear is one of my waifus and the idea of seeing Nepgear in a maid outfit is admittedly quite appealing to me..._

Lately I've been feeling that every new update I've been losing more and more interest in the story.

There is nothing wrong to be emotional about this scene IMHO. poor Neptune were so close to save a Void Nepgear... so close was Void nepgear from having a piece of happyness, first one in her tormented life.

Beth is another good example of how monstrous humans can be.

...for some reason Evilgear reminded me of 9gag more than anything else..
