Man, if this is after getting beta'd, I'd hate to see what it was like beforehand. Repeated words, misspellings, awkward sentences, giant paragraphs etc. really drag this down. Still an enjoyable story, but it's hard not to just glaze through it.

He’ll need to learn calligraphy regardless if he wants to learn fuinjutsu. Imagine if Minato messed up the kanji on his hiraishin three-pronged Kunai, it could do nothing when he attempts to use the technique putting him in a bad spot if he is getting attacked or it could tear a hole in the fabric of reality ultimately leading to space becoming chaotic and destroying all that exists. A steady hand and practiced movements is super important for fuinjutsu so I hope he trains it.

Mokuton comes from the Shinju tree, when Kaguya ate the fruit of it she gained control over the tree and could imprison people in its pods. Later Asura (her grandson) awoke the ability. It’s been confirmed Hashirama was an incarnation of Asura and thus gained the ability from being descended from Asura and receiving Asura’s chakra. Naruto is also an incarnation of Asura yet he didn’t show any mokuton abilities so I can only assume you need both Asura’s chakra and the Senju bloodline to fully utilize wood release. I imagine having the senju bloodline that had interacted with Asura’s chakra but at the same time not having inherited Asura’s chakra is why Tenzo or Yamamoto was able to use mokuton but was unable to bring forth the same power as Hashirama. I would also posit that Obito and Madara showed such prowess with Mokuton due to having the cells of Hashirama and having their own compatible chakra as they are descendants from Kaguya simply through Indra rather than Asura. I imagine the Hyuga and the Kaguya would similarly have better results with Hashirama’s cells as they are also descended from Kaguya simply through Hamura rather than Hagoromo. A notable event which I would suggest supports my theory is when the only other user of Hashirama’s cells, Danzo, was overtaken by those cells and became a tree.

Tony, it's intentional, but since the MC is not allknowing, he didn't even notice. Butterfly generates hurricanes and whatnot, true, but the chain of events that leads to those hurricanes is invisible, made of so many insignificant details that they are not only unpredictable, but always evolving.

just a tip, shikamaru never played shogi before asuma showed him. you have here that he played with his dad for probably hears before the team. i don't understand how the butterfly effect would make that happen. not sure if this is a mistake or intentional on your part.

you have him thinking about the colors of chakra. to me the green medical chakra and red kyuubi and blue regular only made sense the way airbending in the Avatar series used color. it is a visual device so the viewer can see aang bending his kriginal element rather than him moving and them other things moving seemingly at random. the same with naruto chakra. green tells the viewer what's happening. blue tells them a technique is happening. this is why ive always thought futon is much more dangerous than we ever saw. specifically because it was visible only so we could see it, and then the characters could see the air as well because otherwise the watcher would wonder why they weren't reacting to the visible air bullet coming at them. To me, any air technique that has not yet affected the environment would be nearly invisible. it's just air with chakra. and chakra isn't visible because daiki is living in the world, not a child audience member that needs visual cues of chakra to understand the story.

As an aside, i always thought that kabutos mystical palm technique rivaled and even surpased the gentle fist. with the chakra skalpel, it's like the frog kumite since it only needs to be close to do damage. the slightest whisper of contact is enough to sever everything below the skin. or send just the right jolt into the nervous system to cause a heart attack with just a slight finger contact. and in hand to hand, any opponent that blocks a scalpel strike with their arms or or legs will just be changing the damage location to whatever they're blocking with.
personally i think that learning to be so precise as to overload the nervous system for an instant kill would be a hell of a scary technique. even for the more dangerous enemies out their.

I would have expected the raikages lightning armor since between the speed and defense one of them could out muscle the hachibi. Fahad09s A World Full of Monsters has a really good take on building that technique. and Night fall by Dr Snakes MD has an awesome perspective on the hiraishins sheer scary level.
I always recommend naruto verse writer read Dr. Snakes MD's Patriots Dawn as well as Hurricane Suite. these plus fahad09 are my personal favorite interpretations of shinobi combat and what this world would look like when not put through the filter to turn it into a children's show by stripping away a fuckload of logic.

Great story so far. Just a bit sad we haven't seen much of the revolution yet. I guess the MC vanishing is his first step to do just that? Is he going to try and take over the Akatsuki? Itachi certainly deserves some asskicking.
