That's honestly the most believable explaination for the portal being left on that I've heard.

Still good, though! I really enjoyed this, and I'm wondering what could happen next if there was a continuation. Especially if Lancer goes on with his plan to tell the Fentons what I think he will say.

Jack and Maddie showed Mr. Lancer how dangerous ignorance can be when they don't have all the pieces, that being said, giving tjem what they don't know may just open Pandora's box, oh boy.

Great second part. The idea of what would happen if they shuttle down the portal is interesting. And the ending, I'm really wondering if Mr. Lancer will really tell Jack and Maddie about Danny.
