Just try to care of yourself and your family. That's all we can do in 2020 for what's going on in the world. Just be sure to try to eat healthy, wish all the things you buy with warm water plus soap, eat vitamins supplements, and try to sleep well enough for a good 8 hours. And I'll stick around until you are ready to come back, if not then I'll understand. Not everyone on here will stick around when something terrible is going on in their lives.

It is so relieving for me to hear that you are getting much better. Please take as much time as you need to make a full recovery. Your health matters more to me than you forcing yourself to make updates. I do review but in this update book i don't have it in alert or favorite as it isn't a story so i would normally only update on your other stories depending on the type of update. Sorry about that but i rather only have stories on my alert or favorite list.
Though I'll review here instead of Determined Knight.

My sympathy for your health. I know it's a hard time and everyone is dealing with it the best ways they can which isn't always the best but what we have to make due. If you don't feel like writing then don't force yourself to, you'll just burn yourself out and working when your feeling like shit isn't productive to anything you do even if it is something you enjoy doing.

I like playing video games but if i am to sick it's not very fun to play and more of a hassle when your game play mirrors your sickly status. So if your pushing yourself to do something you don't even feel like doing your just stressing yourself out and instead of enjoying writing a chapter it's becoming and unwanted chore. So take a break man. You don't get paid to do this and us readers should appreciate that you take the time to write them and share them with us to enjoy. Your health it more important both physical and mental.

I enjoyed The Determined Knight, while looking forward to the The Adorkable Knight. I would feel a bit sad if you just lost interest and dropped them because you felt forced to do them. I seen authors burnout because they felt forced and dished out chapters that weren't up to their own standards or liking. Then ending up on hiatus or just dropping the fic entirely. Or the toxic community or series itself just ruining their muse for their fics as well.

Now as for your question, I don't know why Jaune gets so much hate. I can think of numerous reasons though. Maybe because he is used as more a comedic character then a useful character to the series. Maybe they see so many flaws they don't see anything else. Maybe he gets in the way of their favorite shipping or something. Maybe they dislike his basic setup where he is like the only character in the series with a basic weapon. Or maybe because they blame him for something wrong in the series. I have no real clue what is the big deal that makes people say they 'Hate' him.

Which i find silly as hate is used so casually these days. Let alone hating an imaginary character. I mean its the writers who write the characters the way they are.

I dislike Cinder, she is boring and she is a generic bad guy who wants power for the sake of it. I dislike Adam as he at first seemed like a anti hero type but we find out he is made to be into a plot device and abusive ex-boyfriend or whatever the story is. I dislike Blake for the constant hypocrisy that she exudes in the series. I can go on.

But I like Jaune because honestly...there isn't much to him. Which also means there isn't much for me to dislike about him either. He is just a normal guy with dreams and goals he wants to reach and went out of his way to pursue them. I find that likable.

He is weak but he went to Beacon a school to learn to be strong that sounds smart to me. Sure he did it with false paperwork but i doubt everyone has paperwork. Did Blake go to whitefang school? I doubt the whitefang sent honest paper work about her results in combat when she abandoned them. I doubt Ren and Nora had any paperwork as it is never mentioned about how they even live when they have no family or home. Not that it is mentioned i believe.

He has little to no backstory outside of having a lot of sisters, and the fact that he is untrained for reasons never mentioned. Ever.

At some times he is optimistic, at others he is filled with doubt. Sounds like every person i met in real life.

Honestly I can't find a personal reason to dislike this character let alone 'Hate'.

That is the definition of hate and I can't find it in me to have an intense passionate dislike for an imaginary character like some people apparently do.

It's just mind numbing to think about honestly and Just started ignoring peoples complaints about him. They make a bit deal about those who like him even in fanfiction yet go out of their way to bash him as a character. The last time i saw this in a series that was just as memorable is Sakura from Naruto.

God the bashing done on that girl in fanfiction was just as bad. People focus so much on the things they dislike and ignore any of the good.

So I can say funny enough I actually like Jaune and find a lot of potential in him for stuff like Fanfictions. More potential then the main characters who despite being able to change them how one would want in fanfiction is sometimes hard to do when their is so much known to them. People complain about them being out of character then. Which is silly since they are reading a fanfic...

I see a lot of characters stuck in their characters designs. I mean like Ruby Rose, she is always using a scythe. Why? I mean so what if the scythe is big and cool it doesn't mean it is the most effective weapon she could use.

Why does Pyrrha not ever go all out with her semblance in other ways? She limits herself because she hides it and never really knows what else she can do because she hides it. Until the final fight where all he can do is launch gears and that is it. Really sad.

Ren uses weak pistols that barley do any real damage and while he uses his blades i don't recall seeing him use that palm thrust that exploded that snakes head in the beginning of the series. though i could be wrong since it's been awhile since i watched any vids.

Jaune has nothing to restrict him to his design as there isn't much to begin with but the basics.

So honestly i can go on but I think I said enough for my own opinion. Sad that people hate a character but they do. I would ignore it and just write what you want and like. If they hate it so much they can find something else to read where Jaune is just a background character or not even there at all. Me on the other hand will enjoy what fics that do and make him into something impressive.

Hope you feel better and take a break if you feel like it. Don't force yourself to write if it just causes problems. Health first, hobbies second or third or whatever your order of things.

Hey man I could never understand the situation you are in until I would get Covid myself, which I hope to avoid. Take as much time for a hiatus that you need. Your health and wellbeing is much more important than trying to do any updates and I hope to see you coming back all healed up and with that passion of writing once again after you've recovered.
