Love this! Thought I confess, I am very sad Sasuke and Fem!Naruto don’t have the same bond, but am not surprised. Sasuke struck me as probably being a sexist, so it makes sense he wouldn’t take the female version of Naruto seriously at all. As far as Sakura, it also makes sense that she’d be more hostile towards fem!Naruto, probably seeing her as direct competition for Sasuke’s “affections”, since again, Naruto is a girl here. Also, F Sakura. Both in canon and especially in this story. Loathe her ass. Phew. With that being said lol, I appreciate Naruto’s more realistic personality. Dark, cynical, and very angry, almost hateful behind closed doors, it makes a lot more sense. I adore her bonds with Itachi, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, the Hokage, and of course Kakashi, who you did right by here! I hope they ALL remain by her side. Especially since she really doesn’t have anyone else. Stupid Sasuke. With his head up his own ass as usual, he doesn’t know what he’s missing out on. Oh, well. Guess Naruto is better off without him dragging her down anyway. Last but not least, I adore her friendship with Tobirama, and can’t wait for it to develop into a full blown relationship! I look forward to learning how that would work out, being that he’s supposed to be long dead...

Omg! An update yeeees! Also a jealous Tobi, can't wait for them to meet! Wait please let Tobirama connect the dots when he sees Hiruzen after Orochimaru Edo Tensai'd him and Hashi.

Hmm... This story didn't turn out to be what I hoped and expected (because I kinda overlooked the "romance" tag), but it's still a lovely story that I hope you find the time and motivation to continue.

The "new gods/old gods thing seem like it'll be a plot arc at some point, and the whole being bound to Kurama's soul regardless of time and place thing is also very interesting.

But right now, I kinda wish you'd given us glimpses into some of the in-between time. Like, how did Team 7 come to be and what did Naruto mean when she said they hid things from her in the exams?

On the other hand, it seems like you're rushing cabon because you want to get to the real plot soon, and that in turn makes me wonder what that real plot is.

In any case, I'm looking forward to the next chapter! :)

I have not yet read the rest of the chapters posted, but I had to say this:

You have my permission." he ordered quietly, yet the weight of his demand was enough to fill the room as the ANBU disappeared. ]

[ The village had gone too far this time and he had enough. From now on, Hiruzen promised to train Naruto and if anyone on his council had a problem then they would have to take it up with him – he would reject any negativity and make sure his little blonde knew how to protect herself. ]

Usually "mob beating" trope is enough for me to turn away from a story. But these above quoted two paragraphs have my attention like you wouldn't believe!

A Hiruzen who stops being a little bitch qnd actually starts acting like the powerful top boss he's supposed to be? Whoa! Sign me right up! :DDD
