On another note, what are jack's and phryne's patronuses?

Loved the ending but all I thought of was how dirty and covered with lint the bezoar would get sitting in a coat pocket after awhile, lol. Does Miss Fisher have a animal she turns into, is so it would have to be something curious and dexterous like a mink or spider monkey, or something no one would notice a cat perhaps? There is a lot a small cats to choose from but most people see a cat and just see a cat.

Another fabulous chapter dot and hugh are so cute, if slightly cringy together, but it's an inherent part of their charm! Poor Bernadette, the fact that it's mostly students that are being targeted makes this particularly horrible...
That last scene was so fantastic, it's funny how phryne doesn't give a damn about how she nearly died from a deadly poison, and they go back to flirting in like two seconds as usually, your writing style is just so literate, and witty, and the list goes on...
I wonder if Jack will have doubts about letting phryne gets into such danger, even though he seemed pretty unconcerned after the poisoning incident was over...

I absolutely love this story, and i'm dying to know what happens next! You've captured every character perfectly, and i love the idea of phryne in my favourite universe, with a wand. The whole investigation, suspects and mystery is incredibly well done too (they are really tricky to get right in my opinion) and phryne and jack's sexual tension is just perfect 0 3 i'm really curious about phryne's past, when she was kidnapped and tortured too (poor phryne :'O ) and i wonder if jack will find out what happened too...
