Interesting...will this side quest affect the main crisis once the doctor gets there?

On the one hand, the Doctor has the ability to travel to any possible universe and have all sorts of shenanigans, so why not get up to all sorts of shenanigans? On the other hand, anti-matter crisis is no laughing matter, so... uh... I don't know actually. I would be lying if I genuinely said I hadn't enjoyed the chapters so far, as they do capture the childhood spirit of their respective franchises.

Strange place to take the story, but hey: why the hell not, am I right?

Eh..what? Is this a story of the doctor in crisis on infinite earth's or not? Is just gonna travel between worlds doing side stuff? she gonna battle?

Seems pretty cool so far. What I'm largely hoping for is a balance of the Doctor who style of action - running away before the bad guys can kill you - mixed with the arrowverse style of action - taking down the bad guys in a fight. It's a very hard balance to strike because the centre of attention may have to change depending on the situation (sometime's it may focus on the heroes and the Doctor is just in the background disarming the bomb, sometime's the Doctor is speaking rapid fire and out-thinking her opponent so quickly that the heroes just have to do their beast to keep up and do what she says). I wish you the best of luck, and shall watch your career with great interest.
