So Suskue is going to get harder training. Good seeing how easy Naruto was able to beat him in the last chapter. Still feels like he was done wrong. I understand Root is the best of the ANBU but four weeks shouldn't see him be that overpowered...should it? Sasuke isn't your run-of-the-mill Genin his the runner-up to Naruto himself.

I feel bad for him hopefully Naruto is right and Danzo saw enough to give him a vast anyway.

As always great chapter I look forward to seeing what his training is like whenever you cover that part of the story.

Very interesting story, might I ask how big is your Konoha in regards to village size(Ex. City or small state), population, and ninja force? I ask because the Uchiha clan would have to number a few thousand people if they total a third of the population...depending on the village size...also does Naruto really have a doujutsu or was it just a regular jutsu and Danzo is having a big understanding? Can't wait to find out!

Very nice chapter. It seems he is enjoying his time in Root and it seems Isao is pushing him hard in his training. I also like the fact you made Sasuke a more likable guy instead of the emo king he was in the show. But I guess the fact the clan wasn't killed off in this timeline means his less dark. It's nice to see some light in this fairly darker Naruto world.

It does seem Ino is a bit nuts over Naruto however and I'm still unsure what is up with Gaara. It seems he is subdued due to the loss but why I don't understand. Could it be the nine-tails?

I like the far more effective shinobi. I'd like to remind everyone that when Root was still legal, the members were actually pretty well-adjusted. The messed up members were messed up before joining Root (Kakashi, Itachi, Orochimaru, etc.) not messed up by their training. Which means Danzou wasn't doing anything particularly bad to his Root ninja back then. He only did it for the sake of secrecy and optimizing the few ninja he had after Hiruzen banned Root.

And honestly, while every village respects Hiruzen, even his enemies, everyone is pants-shitting afraid of Danzou. Which makes him far better to represent a military dictatorship.

I still don't understand why people make it Uzumaki-Namikaze or just Namikaze. The Uzumaki are a clan, which means Minato married into the Uzumaki Clan. He didn't change his name because A) it was a secret and B) even if it wasn't a secret he hadn't been born into the clan. It's not "Minato married Kushina and so she changed her family name to his" or something like that. It's not a personal marriage, it's a freaking clan. You're not going to hand over control or change the name of a clan or particularly important family just because the person bearing the name is a woman. That would be stupid (and political suicide).
