Closure of one life while past heartache put to rest and someone who thought they had better found karma does come around.

But that deception in the alley? Clues seem to suggest a shot fired across the bow to distract them from bigger plans...

I too suspect photoshop, and wonder if the ex-gf is involved. Also I noticed a few [line here] in the chapter. Not sure if was intentional or not. Finally, I’m enjoying Cal and Gwen in the story and the amount of attention they’re getting.

Somebody's been photoshopping...Hope Cal's friends rally in the face of the fakes...

But the recon at Club Bermuda went better than canon. Money for Cal, too!

Kim let the cat out of the bag with Cal and Gwen and I think that ice broken may work out after all.

That went well...and Cal is fitting in as an occasional member of Team Possible.

Understanding girls, Ron still has a way to go, while Cal pretty much has a better handle on things from the life he's lived, while giving a clue every once in a while to the 'wisdom' he's gained in his young life...

Secrets revealed and an enemy saved from his worst nightmare. Yep, pretty good day they all had.

I like the fact that an OC male character is in the story and he's not actively trying to date Kim. Looking forward to reading the rest.

So, coming up we’re heading back into K/R territory?
It will be interesting too see what ‘next step’, they’ll be taking.
If Kim tries to run too fast too soon and if Ron will pull back on the reigns to slow her down.

Shadows of the past still haunt Call and Gwen, as both take the first steps with friends who have no agendas, either...Well Monique does give the 3rd degree because she wants to be sure her friends will be treated right and so will Gwen...

Hope she and Cal's sisters don't have a gathering to compare notes or Cal may never leave the house again.

A good day out where the weather conspired for the gang to open up more about each other, which can also be gained by movie choices/discussions and gameage...ideas also.

Cal took a chance at the end and Gwen's mind slipped a gear...Her Aunt Heather was right, he's a keeper.

This chapter was a nice change in the original story. The original story was hampered because it couldn't make big changes in the characters. Your take on how the characters would have acted was entertaining and I thought fit the characters well, perhaps Anne's claim on having the body of a stripper might have been a little over the top :)

Life lessons, experiences of others, wisdom gained from getting up again after being knocked down, countless times...and growing up.

Variables that are those who are a part of the circle of friends of Kim and Ron, make life so unpredictable and chaotic as hearts mend and grow together...

Cal and Gwen both know time can heal and can help two grow closer...They haven't forgotten what is important and absolute. They're going to be alright in time.

Kim's throttled down on Ron and Ron just can't help but be amazed at the woman who is his for as long as both will be...

Open road, is what I think James is suggesting to the kids in more ways than just pavement and no stop signs/red lights.

And, it probably is...

OK, I’m not sure which storyline, cartoon, comic book Cal comes from.
Unless he’s an OC, if so congrats, nice work.

Finally, Kim has got to slowdown or she’ll end up running slipshod over poor Ron. Unless, she go jungle fever...

I think there's not gonna be a dull moment around there...

Cal's in the house and Gwen's skittish about that, but almost as skittish as Cal is, about Gwen...Sigh, ya had to be there...LOL!

A new scene for Cal, while Kim tries to work her matchmaking magic with Gwen, Ron sits back and tries to keep Kim from getting too deep into this...and the chaos that will become their friendship starts to set in place...

While this settles down, looks like Kim and Ron have somewhere to be and smack down someone who will need it.

Really enjoying this story, the K/R dialog reminds me of YVJ’s work a few years back.
Check it out when you have the time, “A lot Like Love”.
