I absolutely love this interpretation of the Dark Side. I've always been a sucker for explanations that go past just "EVIL, SCARY, BAAAAAD", and this amplification concept makes a lot of sense!

this was one of the best SW stories i was following, and it would be a shame to see it end.
it was quite unique too. its surprised me that no one, to my knowledge, has done the former padawan that said "screw this" and left the order as the main plot. it is a very good premise.

I like this story, it adress one of the things i hate most about star wars. The idea that balance is one or the other. I also like john as a normal run of the mill jedi. Not a super powered hero or villian. It might be interesting to Palpatine and Dooku's thoughts on the videosPlease keep up the great work.

Are you planning to make the Horrible Trilogy not happen? They chattered about some prophecy and bringing balance to the Force, but I don't think the concept ever went somewhere. How can balance be found if the Dark Side remains untouchable?

The descriptions of the Dark vs Light sides of the Force was fascinating and very sensible. His descriptions of and warning about the effects of overusing the Dark side were dangerously wise. The Council won't like that part, either, I suspect, because it is heresy.
His dismissal of Dark Lordism made me laugh out loud because it is so true. Is conquest worth the hassle? I wish Voldemort could see that video. I know, wrong universe, but what he truly wanted was eternal life. A smart person pointing out that his whole eternity would be spent on paperwork and fending off the latest Chosen One's attempt at killing him might have made alchemy MUCH more attractive than the path he took.

If the Jedi adopted this Matukai inspired philosophy right through to the better sex they might not have to kidnap children anymore.
That trilogy made me think that the Jedi were a cult. Also that a bunch of mind readers should have realized that something was wrong with Anakin way before he started killing children.
