Enjoyable story

Like having Clark be honest with Lana instead of constantly lying to her.

Their relationship on the show would have been far different if that took place and probably would have had a better chance to. Clana in concept was fine, it's execution however was not so great, especially as the seasons wore on.

Gotcha for coming in on season 8 and yeah binge watching might at times make it easier to sallow

One thing about Smallville that no one on the show cared about was how a Freshman Lana was dating a Senior Whitney during S1.

Fantastic one-shot here, though would Clark really even have his X-Ray ability if he's powerless at the moment? I liked that there wasn't any drama between Clark and Lana in this and that she was fairly accepting of things.

Hope you do a follow up of some kind.

No kidding on Lana. Yeah, Clark/Lana was mostly fine in the early seasons but in Season 3 some issues had been building up already. I'll admit I haven't watched the early seasons in a long time, I often binged the back half of the show but I was done with Lana in Season 5, in the episode where Clark got hypnotized and Lana dumped him, even though it was understandable.

It's the little twists that make a story line completely change. If this had really happened, things could have been so different. Imagine if Clark had been able to be honest with Lana and Lex...Perhaps it would be the adventures of Lana and Clark. Lex could have worked with Clark to develop a cure for cancer...who knows. Maybe somewhere in the multiverse. Good job!
