This was interesting but a little short at the end. I really like knightshade stories though the comunity would say other wise.

What I don't get is why didn't Jaune just use his semblance to help Blake heal, I don't know if he can use it on himself but he could at very least use on Blake, well I at least assume he could.

So on the one hand, I find the protags pretty unlikeable after vol7 and don’t really feel Oscar has been integrated into the group nearly as well to get this sort of reaction. To be honest, I really hope the show doesn’t try to start on another round of guilt so soon after Pyrrha closure in volume 6.

On the other, you show up out of nowhere and keep delivering knightshade. That’s good. I like the dynamic they have here if not their exact circumstances.

I love the subtle dynamic of Jaune and Blake here. I never thought of them in a romantic sense until reading this. Excellent story!

Poor Jaune, I always knew he had to have taken Oscar facing Ironwood with extreme worry. I am not sure if he would figure out Ironwood would kill him without someone admitting it, but in this case his reaction to the knowledge of Oscar being dead by Ironwood's hand is understandable.

Blaming himself and silently feeling like he failed his new partner and friend that he had in Oscar. His conflicted feelings with Ozpin and everything the man has done in the past aside, Oscar was and truly is a friend to Jaune. Someone his team had come to care for and his death would surely hurt them all in their own ways.

Which makes Blake's way of comforting Jaune all the more intimate and yet...wholesome on a loving scale, being here for him as they clean up in the shower after everything going to shit the way it did.

I can dig it. I like how you kept it current and I can only hope RT goes in this kind of direction with Jaune. I also like how you went your own way with how certain events transpired. I'd read a chapter 2 if that's where you go with it, specifically the Fall of Beacon or even the Battle of Haven. Keep up the good work
