Reviews for Love in the Shadow of Death
Ajfflady chapter 1 . 5/24
I love to see future Cullen stories. Twiaddictanne was a luck lady to receive such a gift.
sujari6 chapter 1 . 4/24
Lovely story.
R. Jersey Leigh chapter 1 . 3/30
This is so beautiful.
I didn’t know where this was going, but wow. It’s so sweet and kind of perfect. Those tender moments between E and B were kind of magical. I love it. I also like how you showed so much growth, in E and B and moving forward, but also Rosalie. And the little tidbit about Lauren and Tyler adopting was great, too (also in regards to growth).
I’ll admit, the mention of Charlie’s death made me sob. I swear it cracked my heart quite painfully. Especially when you confirmed that Bella hadn’t seen him since she left Forks. The idea of that always bothered me, probably because I’m a daddy’s girl and Charlie was kind of special. I don’t know. I’ve always been sensitive about him. Haha
But to see a result of their leaving, what it did for Mrs. Cope was truly amazing. I think that was a very cute idea! But it was also quite sad, knowing she’d obviously admired the story of E and B enough to share it. Her son talking about it was fucking beautiful and tragic. And the last sentences, about the garden was so touching. I really cried then, seeing that E and B returned another 50 years later to see it still thriving even though anyone who would have known Mrs. Cope personally would have been long gone by then.
It was really cool to see the future like that. Even though it’s all fiction, this kind of story almost feels real, you know? E and B are just that important, to the fandom, that it’s nice to see a sort of “what if.”
Ugh. I’m so emotional right now. Positively weepy. Haha
Brava!
nickaroos chapter 1 . 3/18
So sweet and enjoyed the AU along with lessons learned. Nicely done as always.
grandmachix chapter 1 . 2/27
A beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman. Bella made a genuine effort to help Edward release his guilt and regret, and he passed the joy on give a lovely garden to the community. A sweet story.

Deonne chapter 1 . 2/22
Oh my god, I am stunned. This is amazing. Thank you for writing this beautiful insight. The one thing I have always wanted to see was an Edward side where he was able to come to terms with the emotional roller coaster he was on that first book. And you my dear did it beautifully. Thank you for writing such an amazing story and being part of this years FAGE.
2old4fanfic chapter 1 . 2/19
Adorable, and just in time for the Philadelphia flower show
Cina's chapter 1 . 2/17
Loved it.
NKubie chapter 1 . 2/16
This was really lovely! TwiAddictAnne is a lucky lady!

Very canon. I could totally see Edward still carrying the guilt so many years later. And I hope to have a positive impact on people, just like E & B.

Thank you for sharing your talent!

Twiolic chapter 1 . 2/14
That was a beautiful story! I never guessed whose funeral it was until you named her. Glad you redeemed Lauren Mallory from the skank we knew her to be.

Now that Polar Ice will be complete as soon as you post the epilogue (THANK YOU!), I'm starting my reread of Black Ice today, then right on to Polar Ice.
twiclare chapter 1 . 2/14
