The commentary is a surprise, but a welcome one. I was wondering how you were gonna keep the rest of the crew relevant while jaune goes world trotting. Also, love the mix of humour and serious moments, the small references to victory in regard to pyrhha are sweet and fun. I hope that's a recurring theme, particularly Jaune referencing it and people thinking it's a quirk or goddess and he's really just talking about someone he loves. "for victorys sweet embrace" sounds like a war cry, but means a lot different for him in particular

Arkos, woo! One of my favourite framing devices too, I can't wait to see how Jaune handles all these different worlds, and I love the way you write his character in falling snow so I'm sure he'll be awesome here too.

So in relation to what you mentioned, one thing I noticed is that Jaune just doesn't seem interested in anyone else right now. This is pretty apparent with the thirsty mom's thing that happens. My friend pointed out that she feels that Jaune felt like he could have really had something with someone who cared for him as him, but now it's gone and he doesn't know how to handle it. he's kinda just lost right now, and maybe that's all he ever really needed to feel wanted. I doubt he's totally into finding someone else at the moment as well, ya know with all the world ending stuff going on.

- Grief
Going to have to repeat my earlier stance. Grief like any other form of mental trauma is HIGHLY individualistic. There is NO one size fits all.

Some people can bounce back within a year or less, with others it can take years, if not decades for them to heal and move on.

And in Jaune's case this is compounded by:
A) remorse (not noticing her feelings before), as worded quite eloquently in "The Lessons of Regret" by "ClemPrime13" or even your own "RWBY Romance Drabbles" the talk between Blake and Jaune.

B) self loathing. Jaune's sense of self worth was never very high to begin with.

Pyrrha sending him away, basically said you're weak and just a liability in battle, least from his POV, as that was very much NOT her intent.

That little voice in the back of his head going, she'd still be alive, if you'd been stronger, if you hadn't been slacking and actually working your ass off to catch up to the rest.

If you'd paid more attention to what teachers like Goodwitch tried to teach about Aura, if you'd gotten proactive and quizzed Ren about it, maybe you'd have discovered your Semblance early and been able to save her.

And the list goes on an on, one can get a taste of it in the scene where Ruby catches him training alone and following Pyrrha's video instructions.

So Jaune jumping at this chance?

Not that surprising, especially in light of the varying other romantic relationships developing. Oscar and Ruby clicking as they did or how Ruby and Weiss seem to have gotten closer as of late.

The sense of being the perpetual odd man out amongst the pairings and then getting the opportunity to nullify one of his biggest mistakes and find some happiness of his own?

Even if it's just a small chance, it would be a chance worth taking in his mind.

And that doesn't even address that he feels that he owes Pyrrha too much to not go after this with everything he's got. (Which you also allude to in this story.)

So myriad reasons why he'd want to do this and very little reasons to decline, especially not with the War going as badly as it does.

So what happens if Jaune accidentally causes a female protagonist to fall for him, while he's world jumping?

Whether it be Alanna here or Ciri if he were to visit the Witcher world? The latter is a Reality Walker herself and the Fade potentially has access to various planes of existence, if not the Multiverse as well.

Is it possible for Jaune to unlock Aura in others? Or is that something limited to Remnant? Haven't seen it mentioned or if it has, then I don't recall.

Having a Marbari Warhound with Aura could be quite interesting. Especially, if it ends up joining him on his jaunts. A counterpart to Fallout's Dogmeat. (Or even a breeding pair.)

Team RWBY has Zwei, Team JNPR has Yon to borrow a term from Ancient Western Mistral (aka Japanese) (means 4, and an alternate reading of the kanji can lead to the term Death).

Plus it would be funny seeing it chase after Mercury and just tank his shotgun blasts with its aura. ;-P

Definitely interesting fic so far. I can't wait to see what happens next. Also, for the worlds he has to visit, will he visit fanfic AU versions of Remnant as well, or is it strictly this? Either way, it's good.

Hey anyone can have metaphorical balls, doesn't matter your gender as really that saying is just the same as saying you have the guts or courage. Balls just roll of the tongue well. You know this is a really giant ass project your taking on. This isn't just dropping a character into one setting. This is dropping a character into a whole fuck load of settings. DA is a particular favorite of mine so I am sure to be in for the long haul, as you got me on the bait already.

Its safe to say Im definitely enjoying this story so far pulled off right Multi dimentional/universal stories are absolutely amazing! So rare though simply for the fact its hard to pull off.

Ill definitely throw a follow for now as Im excited to see where this goes.

The Persona Games? (Comes from the Self, so might crossover to other worlds. Though which Card?)

Doubt that Diablo 2 or 3 or even the Castlevania's would be applicable.

Let alone something like WoW for that matter.

"Kenichi: History's Strongest Disciple" comes to mind. Adds some HtH skills to his arsenal.

As for how he should be over her. People handle grief differently. There's no one size fits all.

Especially not if you're filled with regrets and what could've beens.

Not if the other person in question was the first person to truly believe in you and who supported you in your goals.
