Congratulations on completing your story! *wild applause* The characterizations continue to ring true and the plot really worked well. Kowalski isn't so alone as it seemed when he got released from duty on his penguin team, but he needed that alone time to think things through. Way to go, Kowalski! You did good and made someone not so good, better. :)

This was so great a story, and because of that I definitely want to see a sequel written. And since Blowhole is a good guy now and together with Kowalski you don't have to rush chapters like you did with this one. I would also like the sequel to maybe detail mini adventures like the tv episodes do.

Yay Kowalski's fantasy came true, now he and Francis are a couple and he wants to reform.

I wonder if now that Francis has his mind back he'll want to help work on the molecular rearrangement chamber. Unless he's too worried that he'll screw something up like he did with the virus and wants Kowalski to finish it by himself. And wouldn't it be something if the molecular rearrangement chamber healed his eye or if Kowalski could use it to turn himself into a dolphin temporarily to see the world as Francis does.

While I'm eager to see Francis become a dolphin again and Kowalski confess his feelings I also want to see how he reacts to the news that the penguin was kicked off the team.

Doris is so sweet to help Kowalski figure it out before the talk between him and Francis. Finally, Kowalski understood all the implications behind his feels and to trust more his gust. Plus, Francis who thought he just turned like that and was going to kill him was so sad but in same time, that's a big YAY to hear him all over again like the dolphin he used to be!

In the end, Kowalski did wonders and didn't blaterring nonsense but couldn't talk about that now, and thats normal, not really the good time! I hope he will figure it out eventually for the DNA machine and then, for their relationship.

I can't wait to see more, and I'm a little sad to learn that's soon going to be the end of it. It was, yeah, a wonderful journey but we are not here right now! It still continue yay!

It's done. Maybe as long as there is no mirror around, Francis won't know how different he is, at least for awhile.

That's so sweet from Skipper to give him the opportunity to pursue his research for curing Blowhole, in the end Brotherhood wins!
And i love the inside joke they shared between them. After all this crap happening, that's really refreshing to see him laughing and to see Francis playing with his older sister. Skipper still want his trophy but boys being boys lol

Very nice that Kowalski a. dealt with Skipper's glee over seeing and anticipating defeating a sea monster and b. incorporating 'Henry' as well as Doris' eagerness to help into his work plan. You rock, K.

It's good to see that Blowhole retains playfulness ... and yes, Doris, you needed to state that all of a sudden your brother plays like Hunter did when she grabbed Private in powerful jaws and shook him!

Well, I'm most definitely not bored - the negotiations were /true/ negotiations with give and take and wow, the ending of Kowalski's freedom is unexpected. Excellent chapter. In the actual service, if you punch a fellow officer, it's possibly personal forgiveness, but also a hearing and punishment of perhaps the brig and loss of a grade and of course lowering of pay - nicely done. One of the most effective things to say in this sitch is "prove me wrong" because naturally, we all want to be proven /right/ and thus vindicated in our own minds and then to the outside world.

Interesting thought that Blowhole is an apex predator, Skipper ... and yes, you took down Kowalski as expected, but I'm looking forward to seeing how Kowalski gets some of his own back. We never do know much about the "higher ups" in the organization, do we? That means fanfiction can explain what the show did not. :)

That's awesome how the next part was quickly here, you still are so damn productive and that's brillant!

I'm glad to know that Kowalski isnt all alone to take care of Francis but also did Doris, they still Can count on each other despite the break up.

I was anxious AT the Idea that Kowalski had to break the New for Skipper, knowing how this one IS... And i wasn't disappointed. Damn, Skipper, you will do anything to protect your men and you know how easy Kowalski is to feel flustered and all lovy-dovy... So that's totally in character to being stubborn, especially with the fact that Francis IS his arch enemy. His twisted joy to hear how deadly became Francis IS si him too, very hurtful for Kowalski but very faithful to the plot.

And my, how Kowalski is fucked now. Skipper is still the more talented in fight and now he will maybe be a prisonner as a traitor, for he couldn't stop him to attack Francis... If Francis learn about the fact that the pingouin couldn't Come back and IS being held captive, he will be wildly Furious. I fear for the worst now, everything could turn dreadful :0

Kowalski handled his disappointment, shock and yes, grief that this event has occurred quite well. He's friends with Doris and that's pretty darn special after a breakup. I never could manage that one.

Thank you for this week full of feels, I keep in touch with your work, I felt at the beginning that something was off. And god when I saw the new look of Francis... my poor heart.
I thought that Kowalski would have let him eat him for his failure but when he did smell, then grap Kowalski to keep him far away the door it was so sweet and sad. Oh Francis, you wanted only to keep him near you.
And sweet Kowalski, you did understand that! Thanks god he didn't do anything to kill Francis but now, he had to keep the secret from Skipper and any others animals who wouldn't understand that and start panicking while seeing Francis like this.
I like how things are turning, there is an interesting twist and I'm looking forward more not-that-much-monster Francis interacting with his friend.

The pool would be a great idea indeed, especially if he's a sea monster, he can't just stay here and dry this poor sweetheart. Big up Kowalski, protect him now!
