Ok, this is a fat yikes from me. This isn't a story; it's written more like a poem, but it doesn't actually have what makes poetry ya know...poetry. I see this as half a step above those stories who write everything like a movie script. I'm not going to mince words here. It's barely coherent, let alone a full on story.

Absolutely killer story and I enjoyed every last bit of it. Although not everyone may like the style that this has been written in but there are many of us who do enjoy it! I look forward to the next update :-)

um.. what is it written in this format? this is not how you write a story.. stacking single 3-8 word sentences on top of each other all crammed onto one side of the page.. and it's just either spoken dialog or a few words here and there.. that's not a story.. redoing it in a proper format and extending the amount of content to be a real story would help.. don't mean to be harsh but.. this is not very good

This is so very damn good story to the point it made me nervous and I just skipped till I see what I wanted.

I like the stripped down narration style it lends itself to a thoughtful story while leaving your imagination running wild in the background. I confess to dropping this story at first thinking it was made by a retard, then I saw your other stories and realized that a retard couldn't write those. This led to me giving ' The Cynic and Fire Queen' a closer look and I'm glad I did. Also what inspired you to write like this? It feels like a poem, but I'm not familiar with poetry so I can't discern any pattern. Hope to see more of this story.

Gonna keep it one-hundred percent honest with you, author. I've never made a comment on any story. Not one. Absolutely none. Me making a comment on this story just shows how well-written and one of a kind this story is. After spending the last couple hours binge reading this entire story, all I gotta say is..you're one mastermind of an author. From your unique writing style, your usage of words that really paint a clear image of the situation, your drama-filled angst moments, story pacing, and how you depicted all the characters. I would even take this a step further and say this story makes the canon look like childplay. I'm serious. The creator oughta learn a thing or two from you. You were the first author to touch upon the underlying nuances that gloss over the Oregairu series (Machiavellianism, Cynicism, Cold Philosophy, etc.). On top of that? You didn't make Hachiman a pathetic beta wuss that stutters upon every confrontation with women. And likewise, didn't make him ridiculously OOC to the point where he's unrecognizable. Love how you made Hachiman display his confidence and magnitude to adapt to situations and come out victorious. Hachiman is truly a unique character, and most people give him too little credit for what he's capable. He isn't your generic beta soyboy low machiavellian MC that people & girls just walk all over and trample on. He's a lot more bolder and confident than what people hold him to be. Not the original anime series nor any other story on fanfiction has done justice and serve to satisfy my desire to find the perfect Oregairu story that depicted Hachiman in this manner, like yours did. Absolutely just love how he retains a touch of his original character, but manages to be bold and confident (leaves the ladies hot and bothered, and panties in a tangle!) And the back and forth machiavellian flirting he has going on with Haruno, love that a lot! It's exhausting to put up a machiavellian facade, hence why I loved the way you displayed him finding peace of mind with Yumiko after the whole ordeal at the gathering. Yumiko is his little safe haven of sorts, while Haruno is the all consuming Lucifer's Daughter that can destroy him if he doesn't tread with caution. Both women are great. You really brought out the best out of those 2 and Hachiman. I would give this story an 11/10. Already favorited, followed you and the story. Best Fanfic story I've ever read. Look forward to reading more of this!

I think you kinda spoil it the ending in this one about 8man. You mentioned he was rival to Haruno, and eventuually the YukinoshitaHayama family. Isn't this indicating that Hachiman is basically going to marry Miura?

I won't lie, was hoping for a Haruno ship cause there's never to be a fanfic that comoketes with this pairing but Miura is fine. I also hope YukinonYui would appear more as well.

I’ve read till chapter 39 and I have to say that this is one of the better sophisticated fanfics I’ve read in this site. I especially loved the champagne and ties arc. Your style of writing is quite poetic and has offered new vocab several times. I hope to read more from you in the future
