While Metamorphosis is a more light hearted story, She is my Tranquil Night is a more hurt/comfort like tale with Captain Falcon still suffering from Galeem hunting him in his nightmares with Lucina comforting him about it.

I have to admit, while both my stories (Draconic scars and Wavering Light) also followed a similar idea. (With Galeem and Dharkon having a part of themselves inside Shulk and Lucina respectively in my stories) You seemed to be focusing on the two eldritch gods haunting Douglas and Lucina in their dreams. (With Galeem doing so in this story and Dharkon’s actions were shown in Hiding from my Skin, Broken from Within’s epilogue.)

The scenes with Galeem and Captain Falcon were short but it does show the former questioning why the latter is so attached to Lucina despite her connection with Dharkon. (I took inspiration from this scene for Wavering light with Shulk and Galeem along with the Riku/Maleficent scene from Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories btw) with the captain’s subconscious even playing tricks on him as well.

On that topic, Lucina definitely went from an angst driven soul to someone whom support her love when his down. The fact that she was able to comfort him was a far change from her former doubtful self from your main story even after what Dharkon did to her. Pretty impressive.

With how Galeem and Dharkon are operating right now, I may compare them to Ansem Seeker of Darkness from kingdom hearts with how both of them are still bothering by their formers second in commands by their subconicous.

I do have one question for your upcoming Smash Bros stories though:

Is it safe to say that Lucina’s Fellblood will come into play in a future story of yours? It was mentioned that in Hiding from my skin, Broken from Within that Lucina did inherited her Mother's (Who is Robyn in your stories) Mark of Grima. It could be used for some drama regarding her and Dharkon in future stories. (Much like what I’m doing right now with my stories)

Well, I may be late to reviewing this story but consider since you reviewed my story Draconic Scars, I thought it would be only far if I returned the favor by reviewing your story,

For the first story of this one shot collection, I have to admit, it was pretty good.

We got Captain Falcon trying colouring his hair for an upcoming date with Lucina for this story. Since this is after the events of Hiding from my Skin, Broken from within, this can be seen as him willing to be let the real him be seen without his helmet.

The scenes with Isabelle and Cloud (Unintentional nod to Kira Vera’s Smash bros comics I guess with them hanging out together.) is minor but it does focus help with Douglas’s wanting to try out hair waxing as it brings up two events featuring them.

In Isabelle’s case mentioning that Hair Styling is her way to make ends meet due to how she and her world’s citizens are moving to Island is obviously a nod to New horizions while Cloud brings up saving Tifa by having to crossdress as a woman.)

Nothing really much else to say her other then Lucina and Capt Falcon to see the Sonic Movie (Which is arguably one of the few things post Sonic 06 that doesn’t suck involing the blue blur, Helps that they actually redesigned his movie design after all the backlashed that came with it.) along with the former wanting to support her fellow smashers.

I like that the ending is alluding to something more (wink) and overall, this was a nice one off on its own that already canonically ties in to your other work. Good job!

That was a nice little scene! Its interesting how Galeem is still affecting CF even after being defeated - nobody seems to explore the effects of WOL on the Smashers. I like your take on it and how Lucina is able to support CF through it!

Awwww, this is cute! I have to get back to reading your mainline fic so I can pick up on the little tidbits, but on its own, this was a well-done piece of romance!

Wow! Love this, really into fluffier writing. Keep on writing stuff like this. And I wasn't even aware that people wrote Smash fic until now! I love Smash, so definitely gonna read more of your work. Go on, make this 'your year for writing'; you'll enjoy it! I also loved the whole trying something new with the hair thing. Damn, I rarely ever find characters written so cutely.
