I really like explanation of level up blacksmith being better than any technological production. New armor design is really nice. I especially like retractable part from torso covering her mouth. Idea of her opening this to show her most dangerous weapon is really cool. Black and spiky look while different but nicely in theme of her canonical armor.

So Naofumi exist in this world. He is similar to canon but his story was different to some extent, I wonder how it went.

Riding on rabbits is hilarious, absurd and effective, definitely Maple style. I love it and it improve her mobility. People are showing shield hero great kindness, while she may not be aware of extend of help she knew that she was given it. I hope that she will return later to return favor. It will be in character for her.

Character sheet was nice to see. Most interesting are ability to cast fear on all monsters and Shield Bash because it damage scale with Vit.

So rape accusations are still used. On plus side it was bitch(who isn't too bright and used this tactic before) idea instead of church. I am surprised that people bought this excuse but it was mostly from indoctrination and fear of repercussions. Fortunately seeing such cute and innocent girl squirm have awoken some basic instincts in those people and enraged a crowd.

King was forced to give "lighter" punishment because of this. Church advising him don't look good in people eyes it may lead to some distrust. Three task make me think about Twelve Labours of Heracles. Of Course they are meant to be impossible or deadly in king and church mind but this is Maple we talk about. She will not only fulfill those tasks but grow stronger in some absurd way from them. Now that I think will people that wish her ill will take place of game developers. By this I mean tear hair from the head in reaction to her exploits.

At the end we see biggest difference between Maple and Naofumi, even after such a betrayal her heart wasn't filled with rage and she can still trust people.

Maple is such a sweetheart that she can melt even coldest ice heart, unfortunately Myne have rock in her chest. Shield hero natural charm make people like her and want to help, princes reputation also make them feel sorry for her. It only frustrate bitch more because she can't understand that fake no matter how well made can't compete with real thing. Her ego can't swallow this.

I am happy that attempt to frame her was something different from canon. (Of course Maple have already developed resistance to this accidentally before. Actually I am surprised that she did not develop some beneficial effect after consuming berserk potion) I always thought that rape accusation wouldn't be to effective of shield hero was a girl. (there would be nosebleeds instead of outrage)

Those two guards are funny and decent guys. It is hilarious what they thought about effects of Maple grinding.

Her being passive during party assignment make sense because of her personality and sleepiness. Of course we know that she would be ok on her own but Myne want to frame her.

Shield reputation will not change but proving that she was able to kill boss solo will saw some doubt. For example Ren acknowledge her as a competent player and possible rival.

Your King is an interesting read (hurray for character development!) and I appreciate the fleshing out of side characters. I kept thinking about Maple's armor and what condition it falls into due to its exposure to the violent mess that is Maple's daily grind... Uncle Erhard must be of sturdy stock to be able to keep up with her! Though maybe that's just a standard for any older person who has done well for themselves in a calamity inclined world... Fantasy worlds are scary places.

As far as recommendations go (though you didn't explicitly ask for any so please ignore this if it interrupts your flow):
The Shield's initial acquisition spree (17 in succession I recall?) was an amusing feature, and I wonder if you would be interested in adding some random shields Maple accumulates throughout a chapter as a closer? (ex: tarp shield, bread shield, blanket shield, etc.) I think Re:Monster does something similar.
On the other hand you are already incorporating BOSS battle gains into your writing so this might be overly superfluous.

I only saw clips of Maple but I think that you did excellent job depicting her in your story. I love how she make shields from everything including dirt.

She have much bigger success in farming from Naofumi thanks to her bite. He was able to punch opponents, so she definitely can bite them.

I love how she was angry because shield took her meal.

She make big progress killing boss literally before three stooges got their first experience point. We can already see that she will be the same teror she was in her game and do it by simply playing around.

It may be low hanging fruit but it definitely is very tasty.

Maple is very different from Naofumi. Her happy go lucky personality deal much better with people dislike because she doesn't notice it. What's more Legendary Weapons operate according user expectations and Maple only played in unbalance beta version of game.

I really hope that at some point she will gain equivalent of Loving Sacrifice and Abomination. First would be very useful to save people and later well I would love to see people reaction to her being more dangerous than wave boss.

It is worth noting that she is only one that went grinding.

Funny thought the shield hero buff of giving party members more xp... that hunting party she forms suddenly makes them all high level Civilians... Fear the level 20 baker.

I have to say I just found the Bofuri series and I love this story so far. It's a sad fact so many new anime barely have a presence on this site. I grew up on Ranma/Naruto/etc fanfiction and there are thousands, hundreds of thousands of stories for them. Some how things like this have almost nothing. In fact many don't even get a section, as most of you earlier chapters pointed out for this story and once a story is miss labeled into the wrong section it's often not moved later.

I will say Maple basically fighting with her shield to have the right to eat the monsters is hilarious.

I always found this stuff funny. Not that corruption exist, even in a time of a crisis. But well how blatant and shallow the attempt was. Seriously Myne's story wouldn't fool a two year old... If she really wants to be a ruler she needs to learn to lie better than that.
