Oooh burn! Dumbles has too much power for far too long and no one to keep him in check! It made him believe that he was the only one capable of figuring things out! Suuure! Like no other countries or even the goblins would have had esoteric knowledge of how to deal with crazy dark lords? Probably a good thing that he died before the end because I get the feeling that the fallout would have been glorious!

Wonderful little story that really makes you think. I do hop you will write more of this type of stories in the future. I also hope you will write a follow-up one day, where Harry sets out to destroy, ahem, I mean ensure that what Dumbledore did can't happen again. After all, it wasn't just Harry that Dumbledore let down. There is Tom Riddle. And Severus Snape. Sirius Black could be added to that group as well, what with being thrown into Azkabahn without due cause.

Very good one shot but please do a follow on or a full story to good not to be.
