Josh14Raider chapter 2 . 4/22 Hello :) A tense second chapter as we see Lara continue to hallucinate the horrific events that happened to her before and having to relive them even though she is in different place altogether. You've written the scenes of her trying to escape and eventually get captured really well, I wonder who will help her now they know who she is. Good work so far :) |
AntarticInferno chapter 2 . 3/30 Interesting start! |
TacoKing23 chapter 2 . 3/28 This has been interesting so far. There are plenty of stories where Lara is more affected by the island than the games make it seem, but very few where it is this bad, and without Sam around to help her work things out. It will be very interesting to see where this goes. |
ARCCaptainFordo chapter 1 . 2/10 Lovely attempt, dear fellow. I was enjoying trekking through Lara's state of mind post Yamatai. I must admit, at some point I was mildly confused by tense, since the flashback is in the same tense as the rest of the work, nonetheless it adds a lot of context to the whole situation with Croft Manor and the like. I very much look forward to seeing how you set things up. One of the things I'm very much looking forward to is how you explain Lara and Jonah reconnecting between now and Rise. Aside from that one slight issue, there's one other thing I noticed, and it's that you could potentially split a few paragraphs into two, since you move past the initial idea midway into the paragraph. |
Josh14Raider chapter 1 . 1/31 Hey, you've written an interesting first chapter. You've started to fill that gap as to what happened between TR 2013 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider, with Lara going through her PTSD and what happened to Sam too after the events of Yamatai. You're writing is very descriptive and I liked the way you introduced Edmund Croft and included his backstory too, I wonder what kind of part he will play in this story. Only one thing to point out is that I noticed on the second half of this chapter is that you called Lara, Laura...it's just a little something that needs changing. Otherwise you've made a great start, and I look forward to what you have in store in this story :) |
