This is just wonderful! I love it so much. You write wonderfully well and can describe the characters so well. This is something I would have liked to see on TV and I'm glad you gave them a second chance that they didn't get on the show.
I'm looking forward to your next Shelby / Rachel story.

This was amazing. A good mix of serious ‘come to Jesus’ for Rachel with some sweet vulnerable moments. Now I want to see this continued and R slipping into calling Shelby ‘mom’. Maybe using it to her advantage, weasel her way out of a bit of trouble (nothing serious), I just love seeing Shelby melt when R calls her mommy/mom. And Shelby WOULD melt, no matter what R did...even if she turned around and went mama bear on her own cub later, in the safety of their own home (also, like to get to a point where R looks at S’s home as her home too). PLEASE! And thank you. Always love your stories. They’re amazing!

UGH. I do. Not. Know. How you pull it off with such stunning excellence every single time, but here we are I guess. Truly, you are the gift that keeps on giving. I was seriously so enthralled throughout this piece.

Honestly? The messy, drama loving bitch inside me was reading the initial argument with the biggest smile on my face. Does that make me a terrible person? Maybe. Them literally pulling the papers back and forth between them and S putting her right into her place is the scene we (we) DESERVED. It always frustrated me SO much how S was RIGHT THERE throughout all of this, and nothing happened… Thanks a lot, RIB. Thanks a lot. Thank god for you. As always.

Will being totally oblivious as ever really had me laughing. Great characterisation there tbh.

BUT do you know what my favourite part of this whole story was? Or, at least, in this section. “Then scream.” As it turns out, I was the one who, in fact, screamed at that. *cue Obama meme* Also, S scaring people out of the library brings back that season 1/ season 3 w/ Quinn authority that we deserve. Amazing.

Okay but then we move into the emotions of it all and you proved once more to me that you can truly manipulate all of my feelings through your writing. I loved the fact that I could empathise with both S and R- a point which I think marks all of the best (your) R/S stories. It’s just such a hard dynamic to navigate.

The “not an active crackhouse” vs “befriend” is an excellent summary for this whole aspect of their relationship, and their characters more generally.

We love an “I love you”. Always. Here for it, living for it. Cleared my skin and my sinuses. I’m also SO here for an S who’s working on herself, going to therapy, breaking it all down and trying to do right. Truly, an inspiration to us all.

You made me cry. Again. But I’ll forgive you because this was epic. xo

Love this so much. It was a great way to have them talk in a canon situation and not one I've seen used before. Someone needs to fix this season

You are soooooo much better at writing Shelby and Rachel than the writers of Glee were, most likely because you actually give a damn about your characters,relationships, and realism.

I liked Shelby catching Rachel and the forced confrontation that ensued. It was about time that they aired their grievances and got everything out in the open. I do love when Coach Corcoran comes out to play cause she's a force to be reckoned with.

Shelby is on to something. She and Rachel are like two alike and that is causing some of their strife, instead of bring them together. I'm glad they worked things out and I'm REALLY glad that you give us all of the wonderful stories and scenes that the Glee writers refused to.
