Oh my goodness this was so sweet and sad. I love the way you portray them and tbh I love how Kai reacted...he’s so fiery I love it

I haven't seen season 9 yet but First Spinjitsu Master darnit I wanna beat that Iron Baron guy!

Wait . . . they didn't recognize Ultra? There was that line where Kai said, "His throne . . . I already hate him!", so I thought that meant Kai realized what the throne was made of. Like the other reviewer, though, I didn't catch that part till at least my second or third time watching that episode.

Good fic, though! Any which way you slice it, that was still a pretty morbid scene and the ninjas' reactions were maybe a bit underplayed. And I always thought it was extra-sad, considering that mini-episode where Lloyd's happily dreaming about the Ultra Dragon flying free in the First Realm. Ouch. :S Anyways, this was nicely written! And I appreciated the nod to there being children in the village, that part struck me too. It was hard to tell if we were supposed to feel worse about the dragons suffering or the kids starving. :/
