Why do I get the feeling that Kannin and Raven is the Guardian equivalent of Pokeshipping? I could see Kannin being a lot like Ash, he is a battle-loving guy who is oblivious to women’s affections. Raven is Misty-she is stubborn, tomboyish and often keeps the boys in line. The Warlock could be a parallel to Brock. A big family in his past life, the primary caretaker and absent parents.

'Henrick' is a bit calmed about these all coming from the Guardian's & the Ghost's part here. [ hummed in a bit of (irritation?) ] Other than him seeing other types/forms of legendary Pokemon that could rival that of a Psion Flayer, he seems like a 'possible' 'candidate' for the Guardian here if ever he does...fall into Permanent death in time. [ frowns in concern all the while randomly comparing this type of outcome to Jaren's and Shin's in thought ]

Let's just hope not too much Ascendant-level Hive Thralls around in the Material. [ hummed remembering the ones back somewhere in the Dreadnaught ]

Some important point about the war between the Light and the Darkness... it is said that the Traveller has a dark mirror. The pyramid ships hinted at this plot point. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Kannin has some form of PTSD because of the ongoing war. As a Titan he would have witnessed horrors that in some form would have haunted him for a long time, like the loss of a old teammate.

If Valkryie glimpses some of these terrible memories from Kannin’s past it would have given credence to the need for him to have a specialized emotional support Pokemon.

To better understand this I suggest Drifblim’s A Long Road. That story has the main protagonist suffering from undiagnosed PTSD and her Sobble is forced in two conflicting role- one of a battler and another of a emotional support Pokemon,

Due to Guardians not necessarily need to eat food nor drink water ( [ sighed ] Fudging Drifter) as well obviously with 'our' Ghosts, 'we' don't truly have to carry any organic food when out in the field. Now if Kannin is going to do his work, he needs key allies who understand his work. And he need a good Pokemon team with very specific roles to play in the event of a Hive encounter. For stealth, I would suggest the Sobble line. They are based on spies, after all.

For the aspect of identifying key Hive rituals sites, I would suggest a Ghost Pokemon. Maybe the Galarian Corsola line?

A Dragon type would offer the raw firepower necessary for cleaning out Hive dens. You could decide what would fit Kannin’s personality.

Looks like our Titan got himself a Ralts. I thought a Gallade would be cool, but a Gardevoir would complement his tendency to get up close. Especially if the guy is going to hunt down a Hive Wizard.
