is it bad that I laugh at Yaz? I generally don't love the new series but I find Yaz okay most of the time- but here I just find it laughable that she recognizes there's been others before her yet doesn't seem to think about the fact there will be PLENTY after her and she definitely is not the most remarkable I find a quite few of her traits can be found in previous companions.

but I always go back to Rose Tyler as far as romance, or Sarah Jane, sometime Martha but that was never going to work out with her always trying to reach the "unattainable" goal of "being Rose TylerI have major eyeroll vibes for that whole thing but she ended up taking back her own power and realizing she didn't need The Doctor,or to change who and what she was, that she was amazing on her own.)
