I enjoy stories from points of view not fully shown in the games, so I like this. Ridley being reckless and fearless is an interesting take as well. I also really like when people do their own world building like this to mesh into the established canon.

I had a little trouble distinguishing character voice because Ridley and “Mother” sounded alike despite Mother seeming to have a very different outlook on the world and experience of it.

But I like that Ridley’s relationship to Mother already seems strained without it being clear why, and it seems like a story worth trying to continue.
