I read your first chapter in 'archieve of our own' but if I'm honest here is easy (because I've already know the interface xD).
I love this wonderful second chapter 3. I believe that is a really good introduction for the characters, especially Astrid, since Hiccup is more mysterious. I cannot wait to read how these two are going to understand each other (or not) hahahaha.

Hiccup's exodus from Berk came with a pretty high price to more than one. Astrid's quest to find him ended with a Hiccup she didn't expect to find. That he was better off than what she thought she'd find, says as much as what she holds onto of his former self than what he grew into.

Surprises for both at the end here, Astrid's got a dragon and Toothless doesn't always need Hiccup to fly...

Tomorrow's another day, and I hope clearer thoughts prevail.
