I read this again today and can't believe I didn't comment on it when it came out. Thank you thank you thank you so so very much for writing this one-shot! This was a scene I'd been hoping for, and I was SO excited when I saw this update. I remember dropping what I was doing so I could read it immediately and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I love how you were able to make it sweet (and extremely hot) while still maintaining that awkward tension they have at this point in the story. This is why you are one of my inspirations as a writer. Thanks so much for The Auction and all it's different parts, which I have enjoyed thoroughly. You are definitely one of the best fanfic authors I've ever read. Take care. And I can't wait for the next Auction chapter! :D

This little AU, inside of the AU, was amazing.
The fact that they avoid doing the obvious thing, was so Draco. But it was a very enjoyable story *wink, wink*
You managed to give us the would they or won’t they vibe, even when they were already doing it, and let me tell you, that seems quite hard to accomplish. Pun non intended. But I’m happy that this two fools, finally gave in and enjoyed each other.

As much as I love the way it happened in the actual story, and I love the TENSION the actual story has as we build up to this moment for real...this AU was fantastic and I loved it

I think you’re selling yourself short in calling this shameless smut. Yeah, they have sex, and it’s hot, but it’s really, really well-written. The last line is beautiful, and the conversation at the beginning is very well done. There are some people who unintentionally write stilted dialogue, but you are such a talented writer that you’re doing it on purpose to telegraph just how awkward this situation is.

Is it an oversight that this smutty one-shot isn’t tagged as complete? Dare I hope that you’ll grace us with a second chapter, either morning after and/or Draco’s POV? Not to be greedy, and no pressure, but I (and I’m sure many others) really would love to know what’s going through his head. Pretty please?
