i just read your story. :) it's one of the few escaflowne fan fictions that have the tendency to make the characters alive inside a reader's head. I hope you make more of this kind. :) I'm gonna go read your other stories!

Since your obviously new to this let me give you some tips. First change your name. Stating your a newbie throws a lot of people away. It usually does me but I didn't catch it when I began to read this other wise 90% of the time I wouldn't touch it.

The one word liners as your disclaimer for example is kind of annoying. Just put it all on one line and get it done with. it screams out newbie or filler or both, trying to make the story look longer by spamming it with one liners is really irritating. In general don't do it.

The "last chapter recap" is kind of annoying. It also feels like filler. An obvious newbie act. I admit it, I used to do the same thing. Unless if it takes you more than a month to update or it has been a very long time since your last update. Which many people STILL do not do this,( a lot of fanfiction that I read update maybe once a year) I wouldn't suggest it. How many books recap what happened a chapter ago? Seriously! Writing fanfiction is writing a normal story but with obvious differences.

With the reviews thing I know I've been one to do this as well. But mostly when people weren't reviewing. Just say thanks for all of the reviews and ask them to kindly review again. See how other people do things. Trust me it helps.

Just some obvious things I found that where kind of irritating. I am not trying to bash you but help you get out of obvious newbie vill. We've all been there. I look back at a lot of my old stories and wonder "What was I thinking?"

By the way I don't know if you know this but and once again not trying to discourage you, I've read an EscaFlowne fanfiction similar to this before. Try to avoid using similar ideas which are already thrown out there. And find a better way to make it easier to tell what are separation marks please. It feels all crammed together.

Good luck on your next one since i noticed this was finished. Just try to avoid these certain things in the future and you'll do fine.

Yeah I see the end! Yes yes yes glad that they ened up together. But i wished I could have read about the confrontation with her mother and Van. Its always rewarding to read a story to its end. Yeah You feel good when you finish a story. thanks for a great story.
