Guest chapter 51 . 4h I just love how you write Harry and Snape conversations. That is what keeps me reading. I loved when Harry lived with him, and I'm still here because of how well you have captured this relationship! |
LolaMarie chapter 51 . 11h I’ve been eagerly following this story for months. You’re a gifted writer who has a wonderful grasp of character emotions. This new hunger games plot is not my favorite; it feels very jarring to the tone and feel of where the story has been previously, but I want to see how the story comes round at the end because I love your writing. I’m glad we’ve been getting more communication with Severus; it’s been my favorite relationship development of the story and it helps this new story arc feel more grounded with the rest of the story. Good luck learning Japanese! |
Abby chapter 51 . 22h Another great chapter. Super shocked at Ron..not sure they could ever move past that. Bit concerned that Voldemort could possibly be seeing everything going on and the boys spoke aloud about Severus.. |
Sheiky81 chapter 51 . 22h Neville is the best! |
ulktante chapter 51 . 22h Extra Kudos! |
Smithback chapter 51 . 23h very good chapter |
Guest chapter 51 . 7/31 I always thought JK Rowling gave Ron too much credit. Making his patronus a dog (known for loyalty) when he wasn't Harry's most loyal friend at all annoyed me a little. It also felt a little like a slap in the face to Sirius who was a far more loyal friend as far as I'm concerned. I also disliked that Dumbledore left Ron something in his will knowing Ron would leave his friends and need a way back to them...maybe he shouldn't have left in the first place. But this behavior is spot on to what I would expect from Ron. When the going gets tough, Ron gets going...away from Harry. Anyway good job writing Ron and Neville.I love Neville and this felt like the Neville from the book who stood by Harry to the very end, no matter what. But why, why, WHY did Harry out Snape when Voldemort knows everything that's happening in the forest? Snape even told Harry that Voldemort would prob have a way to hurt Neville for his defiance so he has to know Voldemort could be watching Neville now. |
Guest chapter 51 . 7/31 Sadly this is exactly what I expected from Ron. He really was not a very good friend. Also sadly Harry will probably forgive him. Harry is too forgiving. I love the way you wrote Neville. It wasn't quite the sword of Gryffindor killing Nagini moment from canon but it felt similar. An opportunity to really show what he is made of, his bravery and loyalty. I'm kind of confused about one thing and maybe this is just me being dumb because your story is so well thought out. But...if Voldemort knows what's going on in the forest enough to know to "punish" Ron and Neville, how can Harry tell Neville that Snape is a spy for Dumbledore who has been helping him and who he has a mental connection with without Voldemort knowing? Won't that put Snape in danger? I must be missing something |
Blue fire chapter 51 . 7/31 I loved the Snape bit. So Neville! You go boy! Happy writing |
Farooq Khichi chapter 51 . 7/31 I loved it. As you said, I kind of expected Ron's actions. Neville's weren't surprising either. I was alsoexpecting Adam to join them but i can understand. I am most excited to see Harry's and Neville's next run in with Slytherid. I am sure it will be a most interesting one. It's good to see Harry has Severus' reassuring presence when needed. It's a shame you won't be able to update more often. Anyways, I wish you good luck in your learning of Japanese. Take care. See you next week. |
TrappedBehindWalls chapter 51 . 7/31 A little sad that my Tuesdays won't be as exciting but that just makes my Fridays all the better. I really hope that after this hunger games you have started that you either continue the story or make a sequel because I can see a lot of angst between Harry and Ron after all of this. Honestly I would find it weired and rushed if they just got over this. Neville should get the honer of being best friend and Ron should be a mile friend that you can't trust that much under pressure. I mean if my best friend put their hands around my throat (no matter the reason) the feeling of trust would be gone. I mean we could still be friends but how can I fully trust someone like that again. And it's not like Ron was like sorry mate I really don't want to do this but I have to, no he kinda sounded mean and stuff when he was attacking Harry. I get that he is under a lot of pressure and stuff but if I really had to do that to save my family and I decided to do it I would be crying the entire time and saying nothing but sorry. I would also try to do it as painlessly as possible. (Wich means choaking is out of the question) But anyway, can't wait till Friday! |
Fichufichee chapter 51 . 7/31 Wow. I am so surprised by Ron. This is getting crazy. I hope things don’t get too much worse. I hope Snape stays safe. |
MA chapter 51 . 7/31 Hay, I am here to revew this, if you can call my ramblings a revew. It broke me to find out that Harry's faith and trust were clearly misplaced however, I was really happy () that you let "Mr Longbottom"'s gryffindorishness shine through . You're the best Fan Fiction author anyone could ask for. Good luck with learning Japanese. P.S, its the great "Harry Potter"'s birthday! So let's sing! () Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear ha-arry! Happy birthday to you ! Thanks for this amazing fic and goodbye . |
llpi chapter 51 . 7/31 Why is Harry telling Neville about Snape when Voldie could hear him? |
Guest chapter 51 . 7/31 Awww that was a cute refreshing chapter. Beautiful. Truly beautiful. I like the fact you took a small break from the “Hunger Games” stuff and give Neville and Harry some bromance time. Love it! Im such a sucker for Hurt/Comfort so can you please do more of these? -Your Loyal Reader- |
