Ooooh my gosh this was so fricken cute I actually teared up at the end with Danny because it was just so dang heartwarming! Wow this has to be one of my all time favorite fanfics for DP, you wrote it so amazingly and gave an awesome POV from Jack and Maddie!

First of all though, the way you wrote Danny’s portal death? That was by far (for me) th description I’ve seen someone in the Phandom write. I cringed a few times in the first few sentences just because you wrote it in a way that I could understand the pain Danny went through. And then! I loved the way you built up the scenes happening before/during Mystery Meat but left blanks where the episode filled in the rest of the story. It was nice being able to see the character development and not having to read through the exact scenes that happen in the show. An the ghost cookies! I can’t believe such a small detail became so charming. I am absolutely reeling at how adorable that was and how you tied it into the story. 3

Again! This is now definitely one of my favorite Danny Phantom fanfics. It was so heartwarming and I wish I could read it through for the first time again! Amazing job!

I don't know why, but I really like the fact that you actually tied this entire idea back to a recipe. This would have been interesting on it's own, but the different facets of the recipe metaphor just make it so much deeper. It was a great way to get all of your points across.

I always thought that Danny's parents would be told at the onset. Of course that would interfere with the whole plot line of having to keep his identity secret. It is nice to see someone write this.

This is so adorable! I love how much Maddie and Jack are trying so hard, and I love how close the Fenton's are in this. And ghost cookies! AAAAAHHHHH! This is a fantastic story.

I thought of doing a story like this a while ago but never put pen to paper. You did an awesome job showing how the accident would affect the Fentons of they all knew at the start. I would love to see another chapter but this makes a great 1 shot
