I cannot express my awe and delight enough. Your ability to perfectly capture and portray mature versions of these characters is unmatched! I’ve binged all of your Descendants fics and every single one (including the collection of one shots) is phenomenal. I think the only reason I even consider myself a fan of Descendants is because of Give Me A Reason. You just have done such a wonderful job with these characters! Thank you for sharing your fantastic writing with fangirls like me!

I enjoyed this last chapter so much. It was packed with so much hope and warm Bal feels.I just love happy endings and this one was particularly satisfying because you've managed to capture Ben and Mal's essense (and their consequent relationship) even though this was an AU story.

I’m going to sob my eyes out. I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been with any ending. When Ben showed up, I checked to see how much was left and almost cried with relief. And wow! Adam came around!

This is one of the best stories I've read in a while.
I love the character work and the alternate universe you set up.

So the chapter as a whole was good and made sense for most parts with Mal's reflection about all that had happened to her since meeting Ben and the confusion about the assassination attempts and the ACIA car following her sorted out when Ben arrived to explain it all.

The only part which left me perplexed was the last scene, particularly the last two paragraphs with the whole shooting at Ben reasoning, Lonnie involvement in all of it and Mal's decision to return to Auradon - I have to be honest you lost me there with Mal's trail of thought completely. My suggested solution is to re-explain it next chapter somehow.

Oh boy. You have to make everything so complicated don’t you. Man, I was expecting a happy reunion and then instead Mal goes off on him. Oof.
You know I’m always just a little concerned about Mal, wondering if she has like schizophrenia or something with the voices and all... but all that aside, I saw that joke “must’ve lost it back in Corona” with the coronavirus going around. That cracked me up. It might not of even been intended that way (because obviously there are real places named Corona) but still.
This chapter almost seemed like a filler with all the skipping around but it was also important as we witnessed the fall of the Dragons from Mal’s

I really liked it! I hope you keep writing this story because I really can’t wait to see where it goes from here! I’m gonna be honest, I was waiting for some cheesy and romantic thing to go on, like her getting pregnant or something like that to tie her even more to Ben
