Yeah, I didn’t think so either. “His brain skimmed over possible greetings like a stone skipping on water.” I mean really? That imagery though... Such a wonderful eye for setting a scene that just sucks you in. “He felt it in the way the bile in his stomach crept up...” feels for days! I adore these two crazy kids and always want their happiness to be end goal. That said, a bit of angst adds spice to the pot birthing better than overcoming the obstacles that have kept them apart. My heart is full of joy and rainbows! Thank you for writing my prompt better than I imagined. It. Was. Perfect. |
