Please tell me this will be finished. I read all seven chapters this morning and I’m now invested.

This is one of my favorite stories. Are you going to finish it? No pressure, it's just that as a fan I would love to know how this story ends.

This is the first fanfic that I am impatiently waiting for the new chapters. Wow. Great writing.

Now, things are getting real between Michonne and Rick. I can feel that they still love each other very much. But...future careers plans are beginning to emerge and they might end up in different locations. I can see them being very careful to dare to let themselves open that up. They made so many mistakes in the beginning and Michonne was the one who left Rick and their relationship for a career that never came to fruition. Rick is of a singular mind when it comes to attaining his goal of becoming an FBI agent. I know that Michonne can respect what he's trying to accomplish and she has plans for her own future that she's had to reset her life and work hard for. The type of energy that they have together can be felt by strangers in their vicinity. The way that they sit in each other's space, feed each other, maintain eye contact and laugh and giggle and take care of the baby and desire to touch just feels right on every level. They have to be careful and take it very slow because one misstep can derail everything. It was a good thing that they didn't sleep together at the wedding and better that they had the baby with them when they were at his house. At this juncture of their relationship, it would be a BIG mistake to have sex. The emotional overload would be too overwhelming. I'm really routing for Rick and Michonne. This was wonderful in it's intimacy, it's hopefulness at rediscovering love and articulating the fact that they still love each other. SUPERB chapter.

I just loved the scenery and sentimentality of the wedding to help my babies reconnect. The attraction and the feelings are still there, but they still have a long way to go. I love how Team Family is there for each other and it's so good the have a real BFF like Rosita.
Siddiq is cute, thoughtful and an all around good guy. But...he isn't meant. for Michonne like Rick is. He's the love of her life and always will be. Them sitting on the couch with Rick's dog Dolly felt so warm and intimate in it's simplicity that you just can't ignore it. Like, one of those little important moments that take you to the next level. I like it. Dropping the phone number with Rick was smooth. Go, Michonne! Get your man back. Loved this chapter

Gahhhhhh! Can we fast forward to when they are in the same city?! It’s so clear the love is still there, but it’s clear they don’t think it’s possible to have a viable relationship now. Now if Michonne said the word, I think Rick would be happy to try a long distance relationship. Michonne is much to guarded for that though. They have miles to go before they sleep.

I’m so curious to see where this goes. Do they get serious with other people or do they just feel the time with replaceable bodies while they are ultimately waiting to find their way back to each other? I can’t wait to read more. Gahhhh! I just love me some Sparks! It gets me all in my feels every time. That and Yellow are my all time favorite Coldplay songs.

So the visual of Rick, Michonne, and Dolly on the couch almost felt like foreshadowing to me. Everything seems so easy and comfortable between them and you can feel in your bones this was the life they were heading to and were meant for.

Though it wouldn’t have been right with Siddiq still halfway waiting in the winds, but I was sho nuf hoping for a little cuddling...or more. ;)

I remember there might have been some Michonne and Siddiq sex that went down in the first posting, right? And wasn’t Rick’s room right beside theirs and he may have heard them? Did I make that up?

Either way, I’m glad that was omitted this go round. ;) I just adore how they are slowly by surely becoming more comfortable with each other and actually becoming friends. They have grown so much in maturity and respect. Can’t wait to read more!

Aw damn! I was sholl hoping they’d give each other a sweet little parting gift in the form of mind blowing orgasms. Le sigh...;)

I love how each chapter bridges the gap between them just a little bit closer. Had Michonne not stop them, I think Rick would’ve gone for it, so it’s good she did. A rejection for Rick wouldn’t have boded well for them. As It’s definitely gonna be a slow burn to bring them back together, but it will make the reunion so much sweeter. Great job!

Baby steps! I thankful for these baby steps.

Though it’s clear Rick is still hurt by the break up, he didn’t let his hurt or his pride stand in the way of going after Michonne. Even though Denise pushes him a bit, he felt the pull to comfort her and that speaks volumes. He also 86’d Jessie coming by all to spare Michonne’s feelings. Love is sho nuf stronger pride.

The dialogue between Michonne and Rick was brilliantly done. It was honest, very open, and my favorite part of the chapter. Can’t wait to read more!

Gah! The painful and angsty goodness of it all! Geez...Michonne is really going through it. You first released this when tittd was still in effect and I shared my thoughts on it. I remember being Team Rick and not having much sympathy for Michonne. I also remember being effectively massacred by the Michonne hive because of it. Lol!

I’m still team Rick as he was a victim in Michonne (and her mother’s) quest for independence, but I do have more of a heart for Michonne here. Few things are worse than regret and she is wasting away in it, poor thing. I know it gets better between them, but it’s still heartbreaking reading how truly messed up they both are.

Oh, how I’ve missed you and your stories! Thank you so much for coming back to this! I’ve actually been waiting to binge read this. The angst was so tough last time, I needed to be able to move past it ASAP. I know...I’m such a wimp. ;)

I’m having to search the archives of my mind for differences between this and the original, but I do believe Michonne’s mother wasn’t mentioned in the first draft, right? Or perhaps she was, but the mention was really brief? It was a relief to know Michonne’s mother played a part in the break up. Michonne’s also seemed to be so cavalier about the break out last time, like she wasn’t really affected by ending a three year relationship. In this installment, I very much appreciated seeing Michonne struggle with the break up as well. It wasn’t so one sided in heartache.

I can’t wait to continue to read about their journey. I’m all the way sucked in...AGAIN!

I feel like the expression “to kill for” feels inappropriate as I sit in my apartment trying not to kill anyone for who knows how long... But I’d LOVE another chapter of this incredible story! I love your storytelling and the magnetic pull between these two. Hope you’re well!
