Personally I think I would prefer the Excalibur arc, following some "filler." You can bring this back if you need immediately after the "Meeting Between Factions" or at least use his performance during said meeting as a way around it, if you even need to at all. Still love this story!

Excalibur arc, the Riser Arc is totally unnecessary (the game exists only for Rias to "fall in love" with the protagonist), besides Max should not be with Rias, it is better if Max is with Ravel (it would improve the relationship between the two clans).
