What a beautiful story. I feel that you were true to the characters which made this story so sweet. I would love for you to be able to continue this story if you could.

Again a gentle story which shows how much you love the characters. You understand them and their motives what makes them tick. Some writers just want to tear them down and I sometimes wonder whether they ever understood what made them be the characters they were. Of course season 8 must be partially responsible.

Aw yes. They make confessions and then make love. And then talk and have more fun times. Yes. Snow day was great. Like at the end that Beckett wasn’t regretting anything, but looking forward to ending the year and beginning the new year together with Castle. Thanks for writing and sharing this with us!

A snow day of Beckett trapped in the loft with him sounds like a dream come true for Castle. Love them playing scrabble. And then the walk outside in the snow. Could practically hear Castle singing “Do you wanna build a snowman?” Then how it devolved into a bad snowball fight, and Castle tackle Beckett in a way that he was almost sprawled over her in a way that made her breath hitch. I like how the whole thing made Beckett decided that now was the moment. That she didn’t want to wait any more for what she wants. Now to get her back to the loft, dried and warmed.

I’m liking the set up of Castle having Beckett over for the night at the loft while Alexis and Martha are out of town. I liked the bit where he says he wants to hangout with her without being around dead bodies and Beckett, though she doesn’t say it, thinks the same thing.

Nice story - I'm glad I found it. As one who grew up in the snow, but now lives in the south, it was fun to read about the snow adventures (as long as I don't have to live with it!). This was a realistic way for them to "break through the ice" and move their relationship to a new level.
