I can sympathize with Jack; I'm not particularly good in the presents department either. I liked how you handled Jazz's first reaction and the subsequent interplay.

"His kids weren't going to be around forever." UM. Maybe I shouldn't have read Amaranthine first, because regardless of if these're in the same continuum, that line met me behind the bleachers and punched me in the gut, ahaha. Nice to see Jack putting his ghost grudge aside for the sake of trying to be a good dad and thinking of something his kid might like, though.
