Huh? Well, this went an entirely different direction than expected. I first thought Peeta had a little crush on Blair (still a possibility), but then Blair hooked up with Johanna (fav character of mine) - then again, maybe it's a one-time thing, but I'm glad she found friendship with Johanna, hopefully, we can get some dialogue between the two in the future.

god this story is amazing and heartbreaking. I wonder if she has any thoughts on the outside world? Canada? Mexico?

I almost forgot that she was Gale's twin; I just identified the fic in my mind as an SIOC Twelve Victor. The cameos of the Quarter Quell Victor tributes was nice to read. And Blaire went with her first year as a mentor - curious how the mentor's perspective is always a bit entertaining, but it's more about Blaire than the tributes. I think you got a good grip on the other characters, like Gloss and Cashmere. Nice chapter.

It's so hard to find good fanfics for the hunger games and I gotta say this is probably one of if not the best I have read. Your story is amazing and I can't wait for the next chapter!

This chapter... is probably the best right now. The bastard, Quintius, alongside Snow was scumbags. Scumbags that send 24 kids to death for entertainment purposes(for the most part). Shitty things happen, and that has to be mentioned, at least once. So yeah, Blaire went through something vile, along with her mom's death and the Hunger Games. But she can get better. Hopefully. She has Gale and he's a pretty good brother.

Here's hoping that canon sticks true and Blaire can have a shot to shoot Quintius dead. I, for one, would am hoping to see that one day. Along with a nicer future. I'm now wondering if Blaire ever thought about taking part in post-rebellion politics?

It was shocking that you would start the prostitution at her age since at least Finnick was given years of waiting for him to be legal. But noooooo don't stop updating so early in this fic please; this can verge on many roads and it's hard to find a nicely written or interesting active OCs in HG fics XD . It's depressing reading on her thoughts and the Hawthornes. I am so disappointed at them but sigh, what do you expect from kids? and I don't know...it's just hard I guess to empathize on the POVs of the Hawthornes since they went from living in the Seam to an almost easy living (it's District 12) being a Victor's relative then having that kind of reaction/lack of support? makes me mad for her and having read this fic in the POV of our protagonist and seeing what she went through for those that benefit to just be "ungrateful" in that sense made me hurt. Then I start to think that in this early recovery period, they are already dragging her down, what happens when she start being manipulated/used by Snow? What would their reactions be? I am sorry for the rant and I am not being negative or so in your writing in fact this just proves that you made a character interesting enough that I feel for her lol. I can't wait for her progress in this.

I would just like to point out that this is a M-rated fiction that takes place in the hunger games universe. This is the universe where kids fight to the death in an arena and where the victors are known to be forced into prostitution. So i'm not sure why people are surprised that there are mature themes in this fic. However, I would also like to point out that there hasn't really been any explicit scenes so far and that the author has been putting warnings at the top of each chapter to protect readers. If something is going to be triggering then just skip that chapter or stop reading. What you shouldn't do is start leaving unconstructive and disrespectful reviews that serve absolutely no purpose.

Now back to actual story. I feel like this story is probably the most realistic hunger games fic I've ever read. It's well written and I feel like everything that has happen to Blaire so far has served a purpose towards her character development as a whole. I also like how your tackling the mental health issues that the victors have to face head on and aren't just glossing over it. Additionally, I thought this chapter served as a nice parallel to the original story when Katniss's mother mentally checked out after her father died and Rory resenting Blaire is also similar to how Katniss held resentment to her mother. I am glad that Gale hasn't given up on Blaire though and seems to be supportive and understanding. Finally, i'm sorry that you are feeling pressured to change your story. My advice would be to just write what you want to write and tell the story that you want to tell. Your an excellent writer and I look forward to the next chapter.
