Reviews for Closure
Yume no Ame chapter 1 . 1/10
that was perfect. Even though I was very disappointed they chose to have him die, it did make sense in a way. I wish they'd included something like this in the movie to bring closure to their relationship.
GiGitheHedgehog chapter 1 . 1/6
Thank you. This...this is exactly the catharsis I needed after the movie. After wading through cheesey "fix-its" where Ben is magically back to life for no reason or he didn't die at all, this is exactly the balm I needed. Thank you very much for what I consider perfect closure.

He said, "I know", in response to "I love you". Just like his dad did. Nice call back to things that have happened before.*

*Despite what others might say about the new movie. I rather liked it because it had a good full circle feel IMO.

Cocoa-Akane chapter 1 . 12/22/2019
thank you for this! I needed closure just like what you wrote. it wasn't enough that they never got to say one thing to each other after Rey was ready to take Ben's hand.
PeculiarPie chapter 1 . 12/22/2019
loved it!
pammazola chapter 1 . 12/22/2019
Loved it. Felt the characters to be very true to their nature. As the title suggests, I felt it provided the little extra closure between these two that we were wanting. Thanks for the bite to read it was appreciated
Highlandl8dy chapter 1 . 12/22/2019
Lovely thank you ... I too felt confused by what happened to Ben, there was no explanation, no closure and it was very odd that after such a joy/then loss moment Rey seemed totally unaffected in following scenes ... the plot before that had problems but I stuck with it as it was a great ride... until Ben’s death scene that is, so love this story as it gives the explanation & closure that the film lacked & explains how Rey could bear to move forward. Well done ... now mail it the JJ for the directors cut DVD!

What a wonderful capture of a closure for Rey and Ben in this one shot. I have not seen the movie yet but imagine there is a lot of loose ends to tie up and a lot likely gone unsaid. Thanks for sharing!
