A nice AU. It was so strange yet so warm to see our familiars characters in a world which could ours, struggling with realistic problems instead of secret criminal organisations. The conclusion was warm as a good coffee with milk! (Sorry, I'm not a cacao person)

Dag! Wow! This isn't the soulmate fic I was expecting but that didn't stop me from wholly enjoying it. I thought it was going to be like 5 different reincarnations or universes of shinshi (4 of which they're not fated etc) because that's generally what you get with soulmate fics BUT this is absolutely delightful. I really love how you set the story in Family. It sells the AU and gives us a main premise - that she doesn't believe in soulmates.
