Aaaaaw this is so sweet. She’s got it bad for Naru (and so does he, not that he’d ever admit it). Aaaah he’s always looking out for her, isn’t he? Well done, such a cute story!

There's a part of me (and perhaps others reading) that thinks: ah, yes, Naru took her out to lunch to make up for being stood up. But in actuality (or, at least, how I read the page), he's just: watch me make my employee take the lunch break she was trying to skip. Though I wish we had seen the gang's reaction to his decision because man, the table turns?
For all we know, Naru heard their whole trying to convince Mai to ask him out.
So many delicious what ifs and things to make us linger in the story!
